Despite of some "fresh" features of the moment like 120hz rate and stereo soundspeaker, I've been using the Realme 8 Pro for the last month abd have no problem with. Really good smartphone for the price, outstanding battery life with only 4500 mAh, amazing optmized system and decent photos.

Realme being real disappointment, only focusing on camera megapixels while removing important parts of a phone, like 120hz display, telephoto lens etc

Anonymous, 19 May 2021Hi,
Can anyone choose the best Mobile out of Redmi Note 1... moreHi. As per engineers of Realme even though realme 8 pro is still using Snapdragon 720G, it is optimized very well unlike its predecessors 6 pro and 7 pro. it has 300,000+antutu benchmark scores. much more higher than 279,000+ score of redmi note 10 pro series.
Please choose phones according to your need not your wants. if u want good camera phones, Base it on camera specs. if you want gaming, choose higher refresh rate and processor. Big thanks!

I have been using realme 8 pro for a month now and I have no complaints. The battery lasts for 2 days, the charger is very fast, it works fluidly, the display is very good, with excellent color rendering and brightness.
My complaint is the lack of support in the form of setting themes, types, shapes and colors of icons, menus, fonts ...
Very weak online support with only a few European languages. It is as if the manufacturer has opted primarily for the Asian market.

Anonymous - Realme 8 pro is for. 3x zoom if you want that buy it or go with 7 pro that's also a good decision provided you are OK with muted colours.

From Realme 7 Pro to Realme 8 Pro, I don't know what to say but it seems that Realme is running out of idea. Way too many comprimisation being made for the 8 Pro. Seems like Redmi Note 10 Pro is the one to go for me, which is more like an all rounder than 8 Pro.

AhmedSLL, 02 Jul 2021Mi 10T in my country is 150$ more expensive, the price diff... moreIt depends, MIUI ain't that bad, at least throughout my 3 years of usage with Xiaomi it is not. In my country, the Mi 10T comes at RM1699 (around USD400) while the Realme 8 Pro comes at RM1299 (around USD300). Personally, I would rather save up a little bit more to get myself a Snapdragon 865, a more premium build, a better camera setup (1/1.33 vs 1/1.52), a slightly larger battery, though it comes with an LCD and supports a lower output of fast charging. Anyway, this is just my view, everyone is free to choose what model they want to buy.

@Camera hope you read this & Ok for everyone here - I have used 6 Pro , 7 Pro & 8 Pro ( Only for short period) & here camera difference is -
1) During Daytime 12mp mode of 8 Pro is best only ( Between 6 pro & 7 pro ) as its most noise free & good details , for Flagship Grade 12Mp Photos purchase Redmi Note 10 Pro Max , clarity is just awesome , only its muted colours & Higher Sharpness means people dont talk good about RN10ProMax camera (Bugbear of Redmi).
Realme 8 pro & 6 Pro produce Well Saturated Photos in Daylight earning praise from users , 7 pro is muted (Natural) hence it is criticized. ( average consumer wants saturation & is not a purist photographer ) , but details wise 8 pro is best closely followed by 6 pro & then 7 pro as 6 pro has better sharpness then 7 pro providing more details.
Now why i said 6 pro is better , here is the answer - The 3x zoom of realme 8 pro is inferior to 2x dedicated zoom of 6 pro ( Thats main reason being flexibility of cameras incl. option of UWide Selfie ) ,x3 SZ 5x telezoom is even better , but yes its better then 7 pro 2x zoom any day (8pro) with more details , colours (saturation) , noise free , Realme 8 pro average zoom user will be quite happy & i have seen many 8x tele weaker then 8 pro 3x zoom , so its good effort by realme, Credits where its due.
During Nighttime , Realme has been going Redmi & samsung ( M51 ) way after 6 pro , it means colours & subjects are dark on 7 pro or 8 pro ( As you see from your eyes or purist vision ) , the detail level , noise is weakest on 6 pro , 7 pro (Surprise) has the best details amongst the 3 , you can get excellent 100% Crop on bright areas , 8 Pro has the middle ground ( Thanks to weak night mode ) , infact GSMArena said forget nightmode shoot in AI Mode ( See 8 pro review ) as its marginal improvement though sensor is much more capable. I believe GCAM will give much better Night Output.
The reason i voted for 6 Pro Night time is its Brighter / Brightest image output of the 3 , , i could see nearby ground lit up in 6 pro ( On 2 lights )whereas 7 pro & 8 pro was dark , 6 pro artifically boosts lights and that means higher ISO leading to noise & weaker details ( ISO is a double edged sword ) , in short if you want max. visibility in night , 6 pro is the strongest , max. zoom details 7 pro , 8 pro is in middle with lowest noise of the 3.
