darpeppe, 28 Dec 2022I am very interested in the 9 pro+ and was wondering if any... moreI have the realme 9 pro, i have it on Tmobile, volte and vowifi works, and also 5g works, but none of this will work out of the box, you will need to download an app to force the phone on 5g and for volte and vowifi, you need to be able to use adb shell, to add settings to your build.prop, so volte and vowifi work.

umer, 25 Dec 2022Can you update about the battery drainage using socisl.medi... moreToday, after charging to 100% I used the phone a bit more intense than usual. Just under 5H since unplugged with 1H 42M screen on time with a mix of social media and gaming. Battery remaining 74% which I consider pretty good all things considered.

Just updated to Android 13 with realme UI 4. So far, initial impressions are good. It is very much like previous version but more refined. No bugs or errors to report, overall system feels smoother even if not huge difference. Thankfully there is no draining that I notice, battery performance is similar with no change.

Got today realme UI 4.0 (Android 13) update in Europe, Romania, on my 8/256GB realme 9 Pro+. Quite impressive!
Just noticed that Dynamic RAM Expansion was “expanded” to max of 8GB (you can choose between 4, 6 or 8GB) so mine is now 8 + 8 GB. Cool!

Have owned this phone for about a month now, the 256/8 global model.
So far so good, better overall experience than the Samsung A53 I replaced it for. Charging is nicely fast and doesn't get more than warm during heavier use. Nor does it have tons of micro stutters like the A53 did on various apps (especially lesser known ones, due to Exynos optimization isssues). Camera is far faster and takes better pictures, in my opinion. Sharper and especially in low light. Screen quality is great, so are speakers. Battery life is reliable and location/network strength is too.
Obviously it gets less/fewer updates than the A53 I had but no point in it if the experience is subpar. This is my first realme and am impressed, software reminds me a lot of recent 1+ (makes sense since they merging their OS) which is nice. At least the package comes with everything you need (case, charger, screen protector) which is sadly being phased out by everyone.

I think its sad that India gets monthly updates, and us in Europe havent seen an update since july.

Similar specs, same iIMX 766 camera but better display with 5000mAh battery.
Whichever you can find cheaper, buy that phone.

For gaming you can buy gt master or Realme 9 5G Speed same processor but at much lower price.
