$245?? Mght have to pull the trigger on this one. Checks most of the boxes for me.

Even at that price it would be a good value. I do occasionally buy phones off AliExpress. All of the Xiaomi and Redmi phones I've bought I got on AE. This phone has most of the bands I would need for LTE. 5G would be non-existent though.

I think they are good phones that have great value most of the time, Rarely do they ever pull of an amazing phone such as this, but at the same time, its not great because the 5G and 4G bands it has are based in China which makes me assume this is China-only. and if a company that has many customers around the world sees Realme pumping out phones of this value that is china-only, that is going to create some heat between the company and its international consumers. i sense a hint of despair in the company, with their $10,000 reward for someone creating a wallpaper to win a contest, i may be sounding a bit niche but thats my view

      MTK makes very good chips as of recent with their 6nm Dimensity 1100 and 1200, and their new 4nm chip coming later this year AFAIK, but i don't really trust them, because the benchmark scandal thing they did was just crazy, they were pushing those chips so hard that they should not have been even able to withstand that kind of power for some time, and using a code in the software to detect a benchmark and dialing the score up by 30%, its just nuts to think that a company as big as MTK would do this, and they have a HUGE market in smartphones, they have a 31% market share which is ginormous, and they were literally betting on the company when they tried to pull something like this off. It is definitely going to take some time for the air to clear between them and the consumers, but yeah, that left a big black eye in the company. That is just how i see it

                  No NFC will be a little bit phrase out. suggested price is still reasonable

                      Maybe we'll get a rebranded version of this later this year or early 2022. The Q series is an amazing value for money it's really a shame it doesn't get released globally soon after it's China debut. I just got a grey market realme Q2 earlier this month and updated it to Android 11 yesterday. The Chinese apps that cannot be uninstalled can now be hidden.
