Realme X: 48 MP, f/1.7, (wide), 26mm (wide), 1/2", 0.8µm, PDAF
Realme 3 Pro camera is much better for low light conditions,
while Realme X camera captures better details in well lit environment. Although Realme 3 Pro still comes close.
Selfie Camera:
Realme 3 Pro: 25 MP, f/2.0, 1/2.8", 0.8µm
Realme X: 16 MP, f/2.0, 25mm (wide), 1/3", 1.0µm
Realme X camera is better for low light conditions,
while Realme 3 Pro camera captures much better details in well lit environment.
Rest is up to software optimization of the camera, which is at least just as important, if not more as proven by Google Pixel devices. I suggest you to check Gsmarena camera review of both devices.
But I think it's clear that Realme 3 Pro has overall but camera unless you only want to take pictures in well lit environment with the main camera.
Its selfie camera is decent enough but there are some phones that offer better selfie camera in exchange of inferior main camera.
To be clear, its selfie camera is same as what you'll get in many others in this price range, and it's the only device in my knowledge that is actually worth recording 4K videos with - in my knowledge.

It is the quality of Lens system , which is important.
Important is the existence of OIS which compensates physically for any Mobile phone shake.
A camera with physical OIS is required and not the 48 or 64 megapixels .

In Camera sensor world, there are lot of sensor arrangement, most common being Bayer-Sensor. It basically is a Mosaic arrangement of red-blue-green sensor. In this new sensor, they included a 4th pixel, for green I think, which gives 4 color pixels Bayer array, per actual pixel, therefore, 48/4 = 12. In actuality, it's just 12MP. 48MP is just a marketing BS! Going by that logic, all the existing cameras will basically have MP times 3 , ie., 16MP normal camera, it'll become 16x3 = 48MP (multiplied by 3 because it's not quad pixel like this new one).

Using this phone...great package. Camera and display is great. Color os is a good os with lots of features. Great phone go for it. Surely Unbeatable in the range
