Facebook app - Delayed n... moreWow, you are one biased person who is trying really hard to prove something out of thin air. Lets look at your points:
Whatsapp - Do I need to say more? Well you really need to say a lot more as it works perfectly, there is not a single bug in the current version which i have faced and i use this the most in my phone.
Facebook app - Delayed notifications, laggy response when tapping on comments or Back. i have never experienced delayed notifications, they are always there and there isn't any laggy response on my 1020, only irritating thing about i would have to say is that notifications update every time you go to them and that gets a bit annoying at times but other than that it is pretty good.
Facebook messenger - No push refreshing of messages. I need to refresh the chats manually in order to see new messages. And not to mention that message are delaying to the worse situations of being few days late!
you really are exaggerating here, days late? really? maybe time to get a good interenet connection?
Tunein radio - can't play AAC streams - don't use radio so no comments
Store - App updates never happen. - i am getting updates on my apps every now and then. at least 2 on average per week which is quite a lot considering i don't have any useless crap installed
Here maps - lack of landmarks updates. - wow, u must be absolutely high on something special, here maps are the best maps i have used and i have been to almost half of europe on them and voice guided navigation is just amazing and i have never gotten lost, ever.
Vine - Well, is finally here. But is simply crap compared to other platforms. Is a ver 1.0 I know. But ain't MS mentioned that porting from other platform is supposed to be easy? - don't use it so no comments.
dude you really need to remove the biasness and then talk here. i have used ios and SGS3 and have to admit that sgs3 really needs a lot of work as after every 3-6 months one has to flash everything and it gets so slow that it becomes unbearable to use. my 920 which i have for almost a year now still works as smooth as i got it first day and 1020 is just a beast. what are you on about really?

store - i really dunno what firmware you tested the store on bro, cz my store is spot on when it comes to updates. Maybe the device you tested on had data sense activated which could have blocked background data hence causing the store to not update

fb app - agree it is rather slow but I never miss a notification on the integrated fb account. I pin the ME tile so I see all the notifs
FB messenger - soo not true. I get all the push notifications on time and my msgs get dlvrd on time even on EDGE connections. Maybe uyour WIFI or internet is not working as it should.add me on fb and I could show u. I'm referring to the integrated fb messenger. I dnt use the fb app messenger.
I dnt use here maps that much but it provides me with the navigation I need freely when I need to find out places
Vine - I dnt use it so I can't say much about it. I used the app and it looked ok.
all in all, is this the limit of your definition, because if this is, your basis of WP being crappy is in a dire state. You are one individual who tries to speak on behalf of many. Given that this is a review of a windows phone, the majority of viewers will be WP users where your minor stand on the WP platform is quite simply "negligible"

WP OS itself - Like you said, immature. In fact, is too immature. I know it need time to grow, but under the shadows of Android and iOS? Good luck with that. Furthermore, MS is simply taking its own sweet time in pushing WP to a more mature level.

I love whatsapp on WP than what I had on my SG 3, people's hub is so awesome for my needs. Instagram is coming but I dnt care cz I don't use it. Vine is now available if you really want it bt 6tag works just fine. WP8 is very young and the ecosystem is growing. Third party apps are what triggers official apps later on. Besides if a different app does the same thing it's official counterpart does, calling it crap is really inappropriate.

Does the game sent messages to friends? You have no freaking idea how bad WP and its apps are. You are just a blinded fan of WP and MS. Why will consumers ever wanna use WP since Whatsapp is KNOWN to be buggy?? Facebook app is so buggy as well. People hub has so much limitations. Toast notifications arrived and disappeared in split sec. Tiles updates happening practically everywhere making the start screen so messy. No centralized of notifications hence user will need to seek every tile on the start screen to check for updates if any. And you will not get notifications at all if app is not being pinned on the Start screen. So much hassles! Practically, nothing, and I mean, NOTHING is right on Windows Phone at all.
You are the one who is misleading others here and supporting a dying platform.

For those who came from other platforms, they have no freaking ideas about all those alternatives app names at all! What's 6tag, 6sec or metro tube??! They don't ring any bells at all! You like the WP, hence you like those alternatives and spent time trying out. But not everyone wanna spent their time on such crap. They just want to see OFFICIAL titles, not others. Savvy??
