AnonD-43136, 19 Nov 2013Moto G is being released internationally! Im even consideri... moreI see your gaming point there, but adreno 305 isn't exactly stellar, its just that its great for budget phones, but not much to write home about compared to for example the Adreno 320 in Xperia SP.
And A7 cores? I don't know but I just cant imagine those weak cores with almost no L2 cache will give much performance for daily usage, CPU wise it will be owned by the Xperia C with its Mediatek quad A9.

Alex, 19 Nov 2013For all practical purposes, there is little or no differenc... moreWhats a practical purpose to you? battery life doesn't matter? Performance? And most of all, te S3 Mini with its vastly superior GPU, is that not practical?
The superior chipset and the AMOLED puts S3 on a different level for all practical purposes, not only does the Novathor chipset have superior graphics power but also bigger cache and so on, meaning that despite the apparently similar A9 cores running at same speed the S3 Mini has significantly more processor power.

"Still, there's always the
question of price, and there the Ace 2 does have a
significant advantage. In other words, the Galaxy
Ace 3 is just too expensive where it stands right
now."
the price difference between Ace2 and Ace3 is just USD15 here in my country.
so, it's an easy choice...

For all practical purposes, there is little or no difference between this phone and the Galaxy S3 Mini.

AnonD-4340, 19 Nov 2013Its doubtful most of us can ever buy a Moto G, but you are ... moreMoto G is being released internationally! Im even considering selling my xperia T for one as its performance is supposed to be stunning! On Antutu my phone gets 11,000 whilst moto G gets 17,000! I dont really use the 13mp camera and I just want a new better phone for gaming! Plus im dreading all the bugs that could come with my xperia 4.3 update as Sony has always messed up in the past!

since Ace 3 LTE has a different processor (Snapdragon S4 Plus) better display, and bigger battery, it would be great to this model tested and compared with the normal Ace 3

AnonD-43136, 19 Nov 2013You failed to mention the moto G!! Far cheaper, far better ... moreIts doubtful most of us can ever buy a Moto G, but you are right about the graphics performance of Ace 3, which is the main reason why Xperia L is the obvious choice for international buyers.

Not impressive at all but the LTE version could be of interest, since it has 8GB internal and bigger battery. Still, its hard to not choose Xperia L instead, especially over the non-LTE Ace 3, the Xperia L offers better CPU and totally superior GPU plus a bigger display and is a few lightyears ahead in design even if its based on the dated SE Arc design.
Disappointed, but now I suddenly realized how outdated the Ace 2 actually is as well, 4GB storage is just so behind nowadays (Xperia M is terrible for the same reason).
Xperia C is also worth mentioning, dual sim 5 inch qHD and big battery at a price in the same neighborhood, its in a different class size wise but it shows what you can get for a nearby price, makes it even harder to recommend Ace 3 for any reason at all.

You failed to mention the moto G!! Far cheaper, far better quadcore chipset, 720hd screen and costs almost half the price of this piece of cheap junk! Also the ace 3 looks more like the cheapest samsungs rather than the flagships! Nasty looking phone with cheap and nasty chipset! Try playing asphalt 8 on this if its supported! I'd use one of these as a doorstop!

After Moto G all this crap phones are fails.
Now we will see companies bring decent phones at decent prices, otherwise no sales!
And by the way, we consumers must get together and demand that production cost to be printed along with selling cost. This will open many eyes, and lead people make informed purchases, and lead prices down!
