I'll not buy a Sony vacuum cleaner but i would gladly buy a Sony Tv ! :)

Beside, I've TESTED BOTH (Note 3 And Lumia 1520) and with my eye i couldn't see difference !!!
WHICH IS IN FACT what's matter ! I don't care about lab test !

Speaking about 4k ...man ...you are going soooo "deep" ! Who the hell is using now 4 k ? FOR WHAT ??? To see on a small display (small compared with a tv with 4k) Beside this is new tech and not so many players and devices can manage it so AGAIN, WHAT FOR SHOULD I USE ?
About the quality of the pictures ...i think you speak really for yourself ...MAN, I TESTED BOTH in different situations !!! Nokia has 3 modes of shooting and last one is almost like a professional camera it can shoot in "raw" (dgv) file and you can process it later on computer.One pic is around 20 Mb of pure details !
DID YOU KNOW this ???
Battery .. well my Lumia with wifi non stop turned on, glance screen running all the time, speaking around ...60-80 min on the phone, listening music in the car connected at the car cd, playing HD games around 1 hour, and the battery last 2 days and a half !
BEAT THIS with super mega Note 3 who is overheating after ..10 min of speaking on it and the battery last for 1 day if you TRY to use as i used Lumia !
I'm not trying even to speak about all other arguments which you bring.
My opinion who has TRIED Lumia and Note 3 and who HAD a lot of other android devices, Lumia 1520 is ONE OF THE BEST !

Android way better than others OS, let me tell u Google made Android, Google own best engineer in the world's... Android runs on different hardwares like Lg, htc, sony, Samsung, and others, still Android doing great job.

And Note is the multi tasking champ.
Most Androids, especially flagships will never just reboot...Are you comparing some slapped together $50 hunk of junk????
And again...Another IOS and WP can and have done as well.
Like whichever you like, but no need to lie or exaggerate...You take it so far you sound more like a Lumia user pretending you used Android so you could make a jealous fanboy rant.

I will have to disagree with this review,because I have NOT missed Android since I bought Lumia 1520.
In fact I felt RELIEVED to finally own a phone that does not lag.
Till now I am surprised how fast Lumia 1520 is. The opening and transitions from app to app is as smooth as hot knife trough butter.
App open fast! Having multiple apps open and switching from one app to another is a breeze whether it's messaging, Image heavy apps like photos and facebook, Animated GIF enabled apps like tumblr, surfing using IE, watching videos, while all along having GTA: San Andreas STILL RUNNING in the background!
Meanwhile on the Android camp, high end smartphones will sometimes auto reboot after adding a Widget. OMG!

If you actually understood the technology behind both, paid attention to the article, had enough hands on, studied the results, read between the lines, and read the article from GSM stating what is King Phab.....any or all of these would easily help...Most importantly being truthful, letting go of the biased trolling.
The Note has the best mobile display with the 1520 only having a little sunlight advantage. It's even better than most tv's.
It has the more unique design and material of the two. While the 1520 has the same build Samsung was always criticized for.
Even though the 1520 has 20MP compared to 13mp, PurView, OIS, Zeiss, and 6 lenses the Note 3 still takes more detailed daylight pictures, better HDR and Panorama, can be tweaked to take similar low light pictures, takes far more clear 1080p video even in low light and takes high detailed 4K video which none others can yet. If you say 4K is useless then so is the smooth video it makes and does everyone own a 20mp size display????
Regardless of what fanboys say both devices will run very fast and smooth and WP is not immune to the reality of crashes and occasional lag. Note will not lag a lot and the little hiccups will be very minor. On the flip side of that it offers oceans more in capabilities, functions, software, customizing, options, multi tasking, and with waycom and SPen too.
And yes the 1520 has better battery. Does not mean the Note's is bad or has problems. Plus it is removable and will still last you a couple days depending on the usage. You can easily replace it if there is a problem, if it dies, goes faulty "any device can" or add a large or slim extended battery. There is even a flip case with a 10,000mah battery.
The Note also has louder and cleaner audio. While the 1520 has an edge in audio in video recording because of 4 mics and higher bitrate. But Note has 2 and still sounds great.
And just like the rest I say this as simple fact not the jealous fanboy crap like all of you. WP is still lacking a good bit in apps. Yes you have many basics, but many things are missing and many things are not up to par like FB for instance. On the flip side of that the Nokia exclusive apps are very nice. Mainly the free navigation. Preference is your decider. You will use what you like if you even get these devices. But the review compared what they can do and was made to say what can do what and what has advantages when you put your preferences aside. And that is the Note 3. It is a much more complete and functioanl package with the greater amount of advantages. That does not mean the 1520 sucks, that everyone has to have the Note or anything like that....It is just simply pointing out the facts and giving people a realistic idea of things. If you want the overall better the Note is aweosme. If you need a specific thing you will know which has it. If you do not care or have a limitation then you will be happy with both
Instead of just being able to accept this for what it is you all have to get angry because the 1520 was not deemed the winner and run around here lying and bickering in denial. Why???? Accept the truth for what it simply means and pick what you like.

I have had the beast 1520 for a few days now. I have had many android phones and devices. I will never go back to android. the 1520 is a game changer. The screen is just a joy to watch movies. The blacks are blacks. I also like that I can use it with gloves on.
I haven't used my laptops for days. I can see this being my phone for at least two years.

In Reality, Lumia 1520 is far better than Samsung Note 3. It has more productive apps, more accurate apps, and all installed apps are usable. Samsung offers captive design and requires high specs to run its apps. Lumia 1520 is so smooth, has faster download, and produces high definition media files. The only advantage of Samsung Note 3 is the stylus. Overall, Lumia 1520 is the best phone I ever tried. I used Samsung note 3 which drains faster and hot surface when calling.

Fluidity, low light photography, long battery life, sturdy build, excellent calling fidelity, special apps from MS office to navigation makes it an excellent prospect ( with no lagging burden! )...we look forward to more apps from ms-nokia combo to make it even look better! Speedier updates are still something for MS to work upon continuously.

[deleted post]Android is a lot more buggy because it was designed to use on varieties of chipsets and graphic chips. The open nature of it is also prone to malwares and viruses. I've used many Android phones, iPhones, and Windows Phone. Both WP8 and iOS are closed OS, optimized for specific chipset, and very reliable. WP8 only needs to reboot phone whenever there is an OS update. No need to reboot because of misbehaving apps, freezes, or something force closed badly.
