K800i pictures are the best in quality and the pictures have natural colors. N73 colors are too bright which is not natural at all. See ,the sky is never such blue or grass such green as on pictures of N73. Also N73 pictures are not as sharp as K800i and are little bit too "soft". K800i pictures in dark using flash are better again. D900 pictures are the lowest in quality.

Hey guys. We know that xenon flash is very powerful. But k800's xenon flash is only for marketing. K800's flash is good. But not so powerful as xenon flash which is used in various digital cameras. On the other hand as a led flash N73's flash is very powerful. If you compare between k800 and n73's flash n73 will be scored about 90% marks and k800 will be scord 80% marks.

Just for your information.. for you guys who says that the N73's LEDs are better than the K800's Xenon flash... I would like to see you take pictures of moving objects in the dark and see which does better. That's where the real advantage of Xenon flash comes in.

for me it`s clear , the k800 at the camera test takes home everithing . the detail , the colours .. one test only was taken by the n73 , the text test . the d900 is weak when it comes to camera .. it`s blurry , the zoom isn`t much , the flash rather weak . long live k800 ;)

On top, top and always on top is the samsung D900 (premium phone, youthful/ unique and advance User Interface, fast/powerful and premium design), no questions about that . Both k800 and N73 must fight for the second spot because they are both a little bit similar in terms of design and functions like a second rate products and almost a twin sister phones.

This is just my personal views about 2 great fones currently on the market within the UK, this is by no means the deffinitive review of both fones but from a glance i hope that people who are seriously looking at buying these fones will remember some points that i mention so when a salesmen is "pitching" how great 1 is over the other, you can already be making up your mind yourselves.

Both are great fones and either way would be a step forward in regards to what most users currently own (there are exceptions i know).

i dont own either the k800i or the Nokia N73, but i do sell alot of both models for 1 of the UKs leading networks.

In my opinion the best value for money would be the N73 but if you wanted the better fone, then you would choose the k800i.

The reasons for this being that the k800i does slightly out perform the N73 in most major departments but the Nokia comes through with the intuetive UI and retail package.

Most clients mention how easy the Nokias are in regards to finding apps etc plus getting out of trouble once having hit every key in a blind rage like most inexperienced users do, where as with the k800i clients usually get stuck on a sub menu and hand back the fone with a glazed look about them (all you retailers out there will know what i mean, lol).

Nokias animations when using some of the apps are nice but for speed the k800i just pips it!

Both function well and if you're currently a Nokia user, keep an open mind into learning a slightly diffrent way of using your fone, ask any Motorola V3X owners about sending bluetooth (what a riot that is!!).

The reliability is about the same with both models in regards to returns but both fones have a high end finish and durable reliability should play a major part in your descision.(If you need to see which is more reliable ask the salesman to show you the returns book n look through making a note of which u see least, this will decide for you).

Looks of a fone should NOT be a major reason for buying (ladies,if youre reading this,if its pink, its usually sh_ _, trust me!)

In regards to designs of both, i think its all down to persoanl taste, i just wish there was a cross-over between both fones when it comes to the camera lense protector.

The k800i is loose and vunerable from breakage if dropped due to protruding so far away from the body of the unit, the slick design of the N73 is good but again lacks a little toughness due to being made from plastic but compensates by being replacable, the k800i cant.

The MP3 players on both fones are sufficient, depending on how many years of clubbing or head banging youve done and will obviously determine which sounds better to you,i prefer the sound of the k800i using the headfones but on loud speaker the N73 is loud enough to use when kicking back out doors.

Both could do with being a little more in depth in with functionality and why cant we get a choice of either album art, track details or a visual display whilst a tune is playing....

                            Moving On...

Both fones have good cameras but anyone saying th N73 is better need to book an appointment, seriously, the k800i is as good as it gets on a fone, ive seen it beat the KG920 which has a 5MP camera,so if youre a budding photographer get the k800i (sorry N73 owners but youll just have to live with it).

The counter balance from Nokia is the screen, it mos def better on the N73, being very bright and a great size, browsing menus, but the slight price you pay is what it does to the bulge in your pocket, "yes it is my fone" lol.

Memory on both fones is pretty good but the k800i is more expandable, the only bad thing is its gonna cost you for buying into the Sony chips (when will we have a standard format accross all mobile fones).

Well im sure this has been no use to you readers what so ever but thanks for getting this far.

out of the 3,n73 is the best, why?because of the quality of the pictures taken using the 3 phones.obviously,n73 outshined the 2 handsets..and it has been very evedent that nokia handsets with cams has the best quality pictures..that's all..mabuhay!!!!!!!!!!

If you really think about it the sonyericsson k800i is the overall best mobile device out of the three.
Firstly for still images, the k800i produces the best images with the best contrast, colour and overall clarity. You would notice this better when you zoom into an image once you've taken it. It also incorporates a better macro mode for close up shots. Also bear in mind that sony (the parent company) has been making digital cameras for a very long time compared to nokia. Its sony's expertise that sonyericsson are using. This brings me onto my second point... In terms of capacity, the Nokia can only support upto a 1Gb or 2Gb memory card. The k800i can support a 4Gb card!
The interface on the k800i is also much quicker, with better shortcut options (even in camera and music mode), and has additional clever items to improve the consumer experience. The short cut keys in the camera mode make adjusting brightness, switching the flash on/off, switching on macro mode etc a doddle.
There is also feature built in which allows you to update the software version of your phone to the latest version straight from sonyericsson. This option is usually used by sonyericsson to improve camera quality, menu quality, music quality and add additional features (K750i/W800i owners will know this - done from sonyericsson website). The software update function can now be carried out wirelessly through GPRS.
I hope this helps everyone. Imran.
