the matter of fact is that samsung totally loses.. it is no match with the se k800 and n73... the thing is that although se k800 comes with the famous cybershot label on it, it's just a normal cam.. not bad for a phone but it's nothing compared to the original cybershot cam.. in the pics, some of the se k800 taken ones are better.. but overall,.. i have to say that nokia wins this time..

clearly, nokia wins this time! and takes the 1st place!

to all SE fans, don't worry k800 has also a consolation prize because of its xenon flash!

    Samsung.. good design! haha!

K800 wins... there ain't so big differences between those pics but photos taken by k800 looks just better. Okay Nokia fans you just have to admit that Nokia can't beat SE in pic quality

oh really, the blue car pic by n73 is better than the k800i or the d900? look at the front tyre of the 3 pics. the threads on the tyre are almost completely smoothened out in the n73 pic, the k800i is a bit smoothened out and the d900 shows the threads clearly. in the same pic, look at the brick wall with the fence in the background. the n73 pic reduces the darker parts of the wall to a smooth surface. the n73 *appears* to look better because the overall shape of the picture is sharpened, but finer details are smoothened out.

calm down man...wether you like nokia or SE...If you like nokia dont just see the pros of that nokia and cons of SE. Similarly, if you like SE dont just see pros of your SE, see pros of Nokia also. Either nokia or SE wins, their company gets the benefits. Both phone N73 and SE K800i are good, it is just a matter of taste. If your are used to Nokia buy N73, and if you think SE suites you well, just go for K800i...as simple as that.I dont see any big differences between them. under certain conditions, Nokia's shots is better, but under some other conditions SE is better. Both performs well. and remember...it is a matter of taste. Dont expect people to like what u like and to dislike what you do dislike.

I agree with Harlekkin, they should throw a 903Sh and a Z710 or P850 in the mix as those three have 3.2mpx also but with an advantage - CCD lens. LMAO @ Nokia fanboys, im not a fan of either of the 3 brands but SE wins and Samsungs is impressive due to a small sized camera. Not forgetting the fact that Nokia have to get Carl Zeiss lens whilst SE & SS manufacture their own. (i know Sony uses C.Z in the real cameras but not the phones)

the k800 have a doc/powerpoint/excel viewer? since when?
the k800 lacks features the n73 have, EDGE, Quadband, S60 and you are able to install OTHER KINDS of programs u know? sometimes the ones you have are boring, you are not just limited to java. taht its actually a microedition... not even a standard one. the k800 its good phone but really the n73 its better... you say smartphones crash. but i have own a sony ericsson (w600) that phone also crashed, sometimes when i was using the camera it closed the camera... when tried to using the mp3 i heard a BIG CRACK on the earphones and had to restart the application. sometimes the screen turned white and the only way to restart was removing the battery.
so even your convetional java phones have it problems.

K800i is better than n73, pls take a good look at the photo of the flower, nokia colours looks weird... cant even see the water droplets..... and nokia colours tends to be over saturated, not natural at all!

in the n93 vs k800 you could see the same thing
so the k800 had the same problem u people are saying now? nnatural uncolors????? and pictures are smudge?. if you say so look the indoor photo of sony ericsson isn't that blurry? (red chairs) or inthe macro shot? nokia are more sharp. more detailed, nokia clearly took betters pictures. the win its noticeable just in the first page of the review nokia pictures are just better. i am not saying in ALL OF them but really enough to say the n73 its better. you are saying we are BLIND but i think the blind one its you...
all the cameras have it weak points.. but OVERALL the n73 is BETTER.
either way.. these are cameraphones its not that you are going to get high quality pictures... for that better buy a canon G6. or the new nikon that i can't wait til its announced. these phones are to take pictures and not having to carry those big cameras around. and the n73 does a really good job!

I have both the nokia and the sony ericson. As an average camera phone user, ease is the best. Really i had to squint and get up on my computer to really appreciate the differences between the phones photos. I liked the Nokia because the phone itself seems more solid. The SE is a bit plastic feeling and doesnt really instill confidence in manufacturing. Anyway, the SE is the best because of the xenon flash. I've lost many good pics because it was night and my subject was just out of range of the LED flash of the other phones. Plus I'm usually drunk when I'm taking a picture so the Best PIC feature is great. My only complaint is that I have to choose the photo i want to keep right then and there. I wish it would save all of them and let me peruse them at my sober leisure.

Nokia N73 is the winner! sharp vivid colors and detailed with no blurs!
K800 is dull, blurry like a low-end digicam or a webcam. haha!
D900 is just like an old camera with film. ;-)

those who says the n73 wins obviously do not have the slightest idea as to what a good picture should look like, and that is details. look at the details of the n73, basically just a big smudge. looks like nokia have managed to fool their fanboys. lol.

if sony fanboys are bitter, then nokia fanboys are BLIND! they obviously cant see the red noise covering the background and the unnatural colors of their (camera)phone. they're probably too busy restarting their symbian phone after it crashed again!

Agree with solanky. k800i takes picture with its natural color... and not turning the taken picture to brighter or anything. What we need is a picture with its natural color... and for this, k800i has it and not N73

Myself tried a symbian phone and has been using a symbian phone for 4 years. What's my comment on it? Yes, its good that i can install extra application and cool stuffs. What i find is that the programs is always the same thing again and again. What Call Blockers, Full screen callers, Ms word/excel/ppoint, imaging app... its all the same. Just that maybe some of the new ones got a bit extra features.

Why do i need to trouble myself to find all those application, when i can actually get all those in k800i??? Full screen caller, yes! Block sms/calls also provided! Doc viewer also yes! Camera with frams/black n white/sephia... also yes! File manager of course yes too! Media player and .rm player... also provided.

So? Its all in k800i and i dont need to trouble myself to search and install. No virus, no space taken up. I can use all those application space to store more songs to listen.

haha, some of you might just think N73 is the best, but think another way round guys. Not just because you're a nokia fan... you say it is good. THINK! Just because of its picture quality is good and you say n73 owns all SE phones and k800i as well? Oh come on... its so lame

realy video recording of d900 is a lot better than n73 & k800.
it is unfair comparison bcause k800 use cybershot feature & n73 use
carl zeiss lens but d900 has usual lens & flash .
i say that GOOD JOB D900 & SAMSUNG...

One thing is clear from this comparision that pictures taken by N73 are not natural. The colors are sharper than the original colour. K800 is the winner.

guys..guys... the n73 never would have to be better in the still photography stakes. Its a SMARTPHONE.Its on a different plane to a java based device. But FINALLY nokia has dislodged sony ericsson in the only dept it always lagged behind.
N73 has blown away the much hyped "cybershot" k900 with a flawless performance.KUDOS to nokia and the magical VARIO-TESSAR lens.
DONT EVEN TRY COMPARING THE K900 TO N73 IN OTHER DEPARTMENTS NOW.
