Not convinced that Kit Kat is an advantage.
For (me) deleting notes in Contacts and reminders in Calender, I think it is a disadvantage.
I understand some others will be less bothered.

Couldn't LG live without replicated Touchwiz? Couldn't LG live without attempting to copy the Note 3 to match...Yet still not fully matching it or using the extra 6 months to bring a newer cpu or any technology?????

i think the best phone is only and only note3 as it is king of all the android devices lg is also good but we cant compare it with note 3 as it is nothing infront of note 3........which is the best device in the world but waiting for Iphone 6 to come...

I bought the note 3 after reading this detailed and fair review. The main deciding factor for me was the battery life wen viewing videos. I was shocked wen i read jus how poorly the lg performs so i opted for the note 3. Thx so much gsm arena.

And spen/only mobile waccom digitizer is a useless gimmick...but knock feature "which is not even new or original" is amazing.

That's right. Just freshly announced Samsung Galaxy Mega 2 is in the works with hexacore ! Just can't imagine so it looks compared with LG Pro 2. It would be a serious competition if the new Mega 2 is out !

I have a Note 3 which obviously Rules ALL!!!! But that LG looks like a Giant Nexus Device and is Good looking.
I wouldn't be Sad if i ended up with it. Only if i was given it of course, i wouldn't buy it. :)
My philosophy is there is only 1 LG. THE NEXUS which is Awesome.

I love lg but they really got beat here. Am v disappointed with the battery life particularly with video playback. And they also left out a fm radio jus like the note. So note 3 wins. Well done samsung.

I am using note 3 from last 4 months i must say i love it. its perfect in all aspect gorgeous screen and good size too not too much big nor small great and balanced spec which make it work smoothly samsung really think of its customers giving them a device which goes along their daily routine without any problems and fulfil their needs while others blindly throw high end stuffs in their brands whether it is needed or not before note 3 i used nokia for 10 years this time i tried something different and u know i love it

I like ... moreWell said man! however galaxy mega is diffrent class mobile ....and mega 2 may come with better specs however samsung wud instead work for galaxy note4....which may be a 6 inch device with dream specs....apart from somewhat similer screen size everything is diffrent in mega 6.3 and lg g pro 2..

LG G Pro 2 is a close match to Samsung Galaxy Mega. I like LG G Pro 2 as got all the icons on the screen. Better specs of course. But that does not mean Samsung Galaxy Mega is no good. Unless Samsung decided to release a more powerful Mega 2, a bit smaller screen like 6" with power 1080P screen and powerful processor l think Mega 2 can compete with LG Pro 2. So Samsung what's next for Galaxy Mega ? Intend to upgrade to Mega 2 ?

If you are gonna take 6 months to match/beat/copy something at least show it up some.

Sorry Note 3 for sure. The G Pro 2 came to the table half a year later and was only playing catch up/copy and paste. The G2 and pro borrowed from Galaxy design and the Optimus UI has become and replica of touchwiz...so you can't say it's bad...but they only added/changed a couple things.
And the shots...LG'S looked more faded. Not true to life. And...The shot comparison of the fruit there was no contest . Note all the way.
Spen...and above...660cdm Amoled for the CLEAR win.
claiming spen as a gimmick or denying the copy paste LG has done here is immediate for fit of you having brain cells.
