Nokia N72 review: Controversy all around

I Have Purchase the Nokia N72 after three months having problem with key Pads not working proper malfunction and now most of the worst thing is that phone Display light is off & key pad not responding.
I have taken from the Mobilestore.

n72 is a great phone which is total VFM.
Sadly the music jack (earphone) keeps getting spoilt becuse of some intrinsic problems.
Though the 2 MP camera delivers some good pictures the display screen colours are patheticand Nokia has a lot to learn from samsung on display quality aspects.
resale value `for N72 like most Nokai brands is rather good
Overall 8/10 for Nokia N72.

I'm using this phone for a years. It has some good points and some bad.
Good Ones
* Light weight than N70
* Bar
* GPRS with EDGE
and other everybody has told as above
Bad Ones
* Slow, Slow, Slow
* Takes times to install programs
* PC Suit doesn't show programs installed in phone if you want to make back-up in computer
* Small key in keypad
* OK bottom doesnt get pressed.
* Camera bottom can't be used to take video
* Camera bottom takes photo in vertical way (Still Now i haven't got the clue how should be phone hold to take photo in proper orientation as by OK botton)
* short battery life
N so many, I can write a pages about a bad thing of N72. But for good ones, its harder even to write a paragraph

Good looking is the only positivity!!!!!!!!!
worst battery backup, pathetic headset, Radio receiver is aweful, Camera not good, takes like 3hrs to get charged and lasts fr less than a day or half!, connectivity is only ok, keypad semi comfortable, alarm settings are not upto the mark!

- Cool Design
- It has slow processing
- sound quality without earphone is low.
- Good Price to Buy
- Battery Backup is ok. need to charge daily.
I am using without any problem.

i bought the handset in Dec 2007, facing the problem for procesing sometimes it gets hang also. Now i opt for the memory card. what should i do more?

This phone is a gift from my girlfriend and Its a really awesome one.I love the music quality and i dont think anythings wrong with it.Ofcourse compared to any sony ericsson walkman phone the sound quality is substandard.I dont see whats so controversial about the design cuz it really looks sexy.However the Nokia boss should ve included a torchlight in this phone that would make it perfect

i have been using this phone for more than one year. this phone has an eccelent performance.My problem is that i have been trying to install the software in my ACER laptop and it keep telling me that there is no drive for the soft ware. i tried to get it on net but could not. what do i do?

I`m having this phone since last year in January i think. I`m pleased of it`s performances but one thing that bothers me is that this device dosen`t allows SOCKET connections :( Music quality without headset is also kinda` low. Overall i`m satisfied and happy for buying this phone :)

about the nokia n 72 ...
one of the coolest designs in n series
with the lowest performance ...
* the bad -
no 3g
no infrared
no secondary video cam
low speed
loading the gallery takes time
display is very bad quality
installing & applying themes will slow the menus
camera cover gets loose after hard use
memory slot cover can easily get damaged
not that good as a music phone
not so good sounds through speakers
gives restarts than other symbian phones
installing applications may slow it down
inbuilt web browser is old & slow
using a 1gb mem card with content will slow it down
* the good -
big & nice design if u like it
running on symbian
camera is pretty good in taking pics
headphone plays mp3s with quality sounds
keypad is ok for texting
so many applications and themes to choose
the least recomended mem card is 512 mb if u like

I am using N-72 mobile cell since six month back onwards. One thingh I can say this phone is having very poor battery back-up. Can anybody suggest me how to uninstall the game from the N-72 mobile I have installed some of the mobile game but unable to uninstalled the game kindly suggest me.

Hey guys I have bought this phone 5 days before but feel sad enough to say that its battery back up is worst.It has to be charged everyday.............Other than this all the facilities are fantastic......

N 72 is good.i mean not bad.phone memory should ve been more.it should even ve had infra red option.sound and picture quality is satisfactory.sony erricson w810i is better than n 72.its fast even though it has the same features and more..n 72 must ve had dual camera option too..on the other hand n 72 is of great use for storin data and other stuff..nokia pc suit comes in handy 4 this purpose..

i liked the phone very much ,its glossy pink color makes it stylish. But the camera output is very dim. the pics taken have to be improved using photoeditor.the phone must have card reader accessory at the tme of buying because phone does not work as USB drive(removable drive) when connected to any computer. i dont understand the use of memory in it except for storing MP3 files. if someone wants to store any important document then he has to take his pendrive with him in addition to the phone(whose memory cant be used on anyone else`s computer)
