i liked the phone very much ,its glossy pink color makes it stylish. But the camera output is very dim. the pics taken have to be improved using photoeditor.the phone must have card reader accessory at the tme of buying because phone does not work as USB drive(removable drive) when connected to any computer. i dont understand the use of memory in it except for storing MP3 files. if someone wants to store any important document then he has to take his pendrive with him in addition to the phone(whose memory cant be used on anyone else`s computer)

I think it's a great phone, as n70 is one of the best Nokia phones, this is it's brother with a cooler design and no 3g, which i wouldn't use anyways... Plus it's a bit faster and has 128mb card included, not 64mb like in n70's, and it's a bit cheaper, a perfect phone for me...

for people in places with 3g better buy n70 or if you have the budget, n73.

I bought my piece couple of days back and am not quite satisfied with the features that it had to offer..
It had no 3G support and was using RS-MMC!!! when this is the age of micros and minis!!! I just can't figure it out why nokia released n72 in the first place!!!
If there are any softwares which can enhance the features of n72 to a certain level.. please do let me know.. Thanks you all!!!

The phone's pretty decent, but i have seen one major glitch. Maybe its something I can update the firmware for, but when you search thru your contacts, e.g. pressing "A" does not bring up all the names that start with the letter "A", instead it brings up all names (in alphabetical order) which have an occurance of "A" anywhere in the complete name. That really makes the user experience sloppy.
Has anyone faced the same issue and/or found a workaround?

Hi
I am a N70 User. I was actually waiting for this phone because of its looks and ya it looks fantastic but I didnot find any difference between N70 and N72. On the down side, its not a 3G phone.

This phone is perfectly fine for me. I liked the feel and look. Much better than the previous bulky 6600. The 32mb of ram was a welcome feature. Could easily multitask on the phone. I think its great for those who dont have 3g networks in their country and want a phone having more or less all features at an affordable price. And yes, its cool on the style front too. Great work.

Yes, its N70 without 3G.
Why they didn't mention that it has the biggest (together with N70) amount of free RAM - about 32MB (which brings multitasking to a new level). None of the 3rd ed devices has so and its pain in the...

I don't know what GSMARENA's problem is with the design... it looks OK to me. As a matter of fact: the design resembles the N80 in some ways. It's not out of the ordinary at all.
The screen is a pitty indeed, but as a "low" end phone this would be quite afordable and serves fine for the general public. It's really just about keeping up with the competition: Sony Ericsson.
With the K600, K610, K618 and W8xx series Nokia needs to fill the gap somehow.

The point of releasing this phone is: it aims at some girl customers. I've seen alot of girls who have bought or want to buy this pretty one.
BTW, what abt review of N73 ? The N73 has been released for a month and it's hot. C'on GSMarena, give us the review
