Too late...
I was until recently an avid WP user and fan starting way back with WP7. I am not so much anymore since last month. I love MS for what they have built but I waited too long for something good and then twice and still it comes short. I waited for a WP device like Samsung's S4 or LG G2 since those were announced a year ago. Rummors came up for Icon November last year, than December. It came up only february this year and Verizon only (forgive me for not carrying bricks in my pocket, 1520 was excluded upfront), then rummors were March then April for an international version, they announced it this month for June. I am sorry but it was too much for me. Apart from a little better camera and the WP OS to be honest the Lumia 930 is no better than say LG G2 which is half price and available worldwide for a year now. It's just not worth it no matter how much I forced myself to believe it is. I installed Launcher 8 on the LG G2 and it looks almost identical to a WP8 (it took me 1 day to customize it properly but it was a great success).
I will check on WP8 again in 1-2 years, I hope others will carry it and that it will gain some decent marketshare. I am sorry for my negative post but the truth is that at the moment whatever WP does not matters until a propper device exists on the market worldwide.

Still way too much restrictions and horrible UI - yes, it's simple but also very ugly and still can't be modified correctly. Performance-wise it's right there with Android KitKat, but it really should be even faster because it doesn't have all the customization options like Android does.
WP + Android's customization features would be my perfect OS. WP needs to give up those ugly tiles or give users some freedom. Still going to use my 1020 as my 2nd phone as long as the OS is lacking basic things. I really want to like the Windows Phone OS, but it needs more work to be considered as a true competitor for Android. It's already better than iOS, which I don't like at all. There's nothing wrong with Apple, but the OS is just terrible.

Hoping for a thorough review when BB10.3 comes out, BB10.2.1 is still the only competitor to Android with real multitasking, and yet it performs like iOS, and even feels like its much faster than iOS, plus it runs lotsa Android apps better than many Android phones does.

Rizu, 22 Apr 2014no flv file support. nd others format also. no suitable app... moreOK... Are you troll.. moliplayer can play every format. Call history is there, even with details of everyt Call. Since yesterday we have aerize explorer witch can open files, Copy sd card, show detials. It's very good file explorer. If you want to play games use ipad. Honedge, 22 Apr 2014Maybe because BB10 use QNX kernel its browser is so performant. The browser has to be highly optimized and well coded also, having efficient OS alone will not give this level of performance. And what more is impressive with the BB browser is that it has less bugs than Chrome Dolphin FF and Opera for android. On Android i always found some sites that didnt work too well with all android browsers so i had to install additional ones, still havent needed that on BB10, thats impressive.

Faramarz Bagheri, 22 Apr 2014Not active Well, my comment was for deleted post, but I used UC browser and it didn't work correctly, and I don't know the meaning of 'not Active', I assumed just because I didn't comment regularly it doesn't mean I didn't follow the Gsmarena news.

AnonD-239468, 22 Apr 2014Still uglier than android. Btw Gsmarena why didnt you revie... moreBecause every 2 weeks android is updating their OS and its not that of a big deal, but windows hasn't made and update since the first launch of windows phone 8, and that's why it's worth reviewing a "brand new" Ooerating System

when i saw the user interference of the windows phone for the first time i said one ward "ugly".
but now after years things has changed and the best way to describe the new windows phone is using two wards "still ugly".
