Huawei Ascend P7 review: Looking strong

07 May 2014
The Huawei Ascend P7 is the sequel to the ultra-thin P6, the phone that proved, beyond any doubt, Huawei's ability to create visually appealing handsets. The new model builds on the original with a 5" 1080p screen, superior camera and chipset, plus a number of other improvements...

I agree about on screen keys. I will NOT buy a phone with on screen keys. They are ugly and a waste of screen space.

Why do reviewers constantly refer to benchmarks ? Trust me, nobody cares about benchmarks. Stop the benchmark nonsense.

AnonD-209094, 07 May 2014Well you do know what site this is? Mobile benchmark lovers... moreYesterday even S801 wasn't good enough. Read the comments in LG G3 article, everyone was crying for S805, otherwise the phone would be sh**. Seriously, what are people doing on their phones that S4pro couldn't fulfill. I have Xperia S with dual core 1.5GHz Scorpion cores and I can't think of a moment when that wasn't enough in everyday use.

Huawei really need to throw away it own lousy crap poor performance chipset.

Your processor always outdated and not perform well.

By only look without internal, you can't survive long, some more your phone price ain't cheap.

It should be compared to older generation Lenovo K900 for better benchmarking to see the difference in short falls and how Huawei can improve in the same while preparing to launch its next P series phone - Looks like Gionee Elife E7 has upper edge over here in comparison to other chinese brands and we will see more and more lesser known brands also surpass this flagship phone.

Ascend P6 has a lot of disadvantages . It looks Huawei has overcome some of them with Ascend P7 ,but still some exist . Huawei a company which come seriously in mobile phone business in 2005 or after has a come long way . The company is improving . The gap is closing with day by day with the top players .

No front camera sample? I know it's not the usual, but since one of the main feature of this phone is the front camera it's a shame that it didn't shown here.
