Speakers of course is no competition the M8 wins.

Learn to fully read and comprehend articles and sources before just posting what the title says.
One big thing is there are a couple that they had not even tested. Like the S5. And I still don't know if they did.
Plus that tests overall camera. Not just pictures.
Where the 1020 and 808 still blow the Z2 away.
And the S5 does better than the Z2 in most conditions. Even when comparing superior auto.

They both have water protection. Both have bigger battery and better battery life. Both are much thinner.
On has removable battery. Both have more functions in UI.
Basically all M8 has over either is speakers and headphones. And preference of looks.

Sony has the better camera,more ram which makes it faster.the omnibalance design is mostly used and sony is premium with glass.samsung fans are over this time.

Samsung s5 is not gud device that is the reason within one week they r going back and price drops 10000. But sony still rocks the same price

DxO labs has recently ranked the Sony Z2's camera as the best one right now. Better than the 808 they said. Now I call BS on them for this. The Z2 cant even beat the S5 in imaging! That website is one big sham to me now.

I'm sorry for what's supposed to be a very long post, but i need to say what i think.
-I said it before and it's the last time, because it seems it's a lost cause to explain: X isn't better than Y! (replace X and Y with a car, a phone, whatever you want).
It all comes down to personal preferences or what you afford! X could be better than Y for me, but for someone else Y could be better!
-It's so stupid to argue which phone is better, just buy what you want, no one forces you not to do it!
-Being a fan of a company isn't that bad, i'm myself a Sony fan, all devices in my house are Sony, just because i love their reliability and design. But my Bravia TV doesn't read all kind of subtitles in a movie on a usb-memory like majority of Samsung TVs do, but i connect my Vaio to TV through HDMI, i don't need watching movies from usb-memory. For someone that hasn't a laptop with HDMI, that would be a big minus for Bravia.
-Being a fan of X doesn't mean to trust them whatever they say and stop thinking for myself. Samsung, Sony, Google, Coca-Cola etc are companies, all they care is about PROFIT! It's sad, but that's how it works in capitalism. Be sure if any company could steal more from you it would! If Sony/Apple/Samsung/LG were the only smartphone manufacturer in the world, be sure we would pay more than twice for a smartphone. So stop hating each other, having a monopoly in a domain it's the worse thing it can happen. Also it looks very stupid to argue about preferences.
-It's incredibly silly to trust every review or benchmark. How could a sane person believe that such big companies don't do everything to get even further, they hire workers to work 10 or 12 hours a day for 5 dollars, don't you think they pay reviewers and cheat benchmarks too? Short example: if today i invented the car that doesn't need fuel, don't you think Shell or other companies that extract petrol would try to stop my car to enter production? Of course they will, else their petrol will be good for nothing.
-I feel like this is a mad world, i speak in vain, we as humans really need to think where we're heading to, we don't know to respect each other, we want to seem what we are not, some guys eat bad food or stop going out a period just to have money to buy the latest smartphone so that after they can go outside proud of themselves.
-It's time to wake up humankind! Sometimes it's better to spend money on a trip than on a gadget, it's better to live something extraordinary than seeing it on a display!

Both phones are quite impressive, but the review had some points of bias, it all boils down to which you prefer, either way you cant go wrong, enjoy.

I don't know if or how that might change in large/loud environments. But those are the current facts.

I'm sure that's still relevant today (with Iphone replacing Moto).
Sony phones could produce nice music, but it sounds blunt when directly compared to those three.

I've just gone through this Devices concept stores lately and I spent almost 17mins on Sony's Xperia Z2 while I guise 6mins on S5 just to try for myself how those Blogger Tech talking harsh on Z2 device where it's so good that you cannot throw negative comments on it. By the way both devices are Superior, but my Mind goes WOW and my heart say YES to Sony Xperia Z2. Cheers!

read again. and take a good look at the provided pictures.
z2's pictures lost many details compared to S5's.
S5's pictures are not perfect but overall better than z2.
