when comparing s5 camera at night/low light is the image stabilization is turned on? because the stablization helps to improve image quality at low-light

Z2 looks better but its bulkier.
Z2 still takes grainy pics in less than optimal lit scenes thus making the samsung camera a bit better and the flash on Z2 is more off a filling flash not really usable in low light and will look even grainier.
Heartrate monitor and fingerprint scanner are more for marketing not for day to day usage(although i sometimes activate the fingerprint unlock when i leave home and i need to say that the accuracy of it is rather disappointing).The IR blaster and pedometer included in the S-health are a great plus on the Samsung side in my opinion.
I don't really care if its a mono speaker or it has dual front speakers as long as they are loud enough to hear the phone ringing and watch a video(from my point of view they just add to the bulkiness of the Z2
I think having hardware button might be an advantage when talk about usable screen but its not a big deal.
SG5 might have usb 3.0 but samsung provides normal cable in package and i dont think a lot of people will ever go and buy the large 3.0 cable separately,also its really good that it's covered,looks hideous without that cover flap.
All in all I'm happy that sony made the Z2 not just good looking but the first Sony flagship with a really good battery life and display(average use dont give a damn about color accuracy or 1 hour call time or web browsing (maybe people remember that the Z1 had 6 hours of web browsing and 6 hours of video playback and its still considered a great phone good looking with good specs and the same camera as in Z2)

S5 is such a rubbish phone. Too expensive for that plastic. Ugly. Seriously,s4 got the great looking than this s5. Exynos? Heats like hell. Ill never buy a samsung phones juz because their material. 700$ for that plastic? Ask yourself. Is it worth?

Go for xperia z2
You won't be disappointed. Showing off all the software from Samsung no one has this much time. But with great looks one can easily be impressed.

One thing is for certain, if you hold the Z2 up to your face about 30cms away with music playing you will NEVER go back to a single speaker, let alone a BACK SPEAKER.
Front facing speakers are the future, and Sony will always win in this department :D

Today I saw the Z2 in person and played around with it. S5's AMOLED just comes down to personal tastes if you like over saturated looks. If you change the color temps then you might as well go with the natural looking IPS panels instead. The rest of the specs all pretty much similar. Heart-rate monitor is again a preference for a minority group who may need it.
The camera, unlike what questionable opinions reviewers might have including those of this site, the flckr shots show how terrible S5 really is in comparison to even the Note 3. ISOCELL is more hype than substance. It lacks consistency across the range unlike what the Note 3 and S4 showed. There is a good reason for that, ISOCELL is Samsung's sensor. The Nnote 3 and S4 have Sony sensors. Samsung has plenty of experience with Sony Sensors so their software is more matured and so is able to get the best out of those Sony sensors. ISOCELL is a poor first attempt. If it's down to hardware and/or software is not very clear. Not easy to know unless you work for Samsung or unless Samsung sells ISOCELL based sensors to other OEMs to integrate into their products.
Z2 blows the S5, you just need to look at the ISO settings and compare how each handles. Take a good look at the countless samples on flckr.

GUYZ.... !!!! HOLD UP .... Samsung will destroy Sony , HTC,Apple , LG ,Blackberry and any other phone manufacturer ANY DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY. I guarantee you that... The Galaxy S5 is the ONE.

Lolz!!! Cant stop laughing after reading the comparison. Neither GSMArena nor Sammy Fanboys can convince me to buy GS5 over Z2. For the first time, Sony has beat Samsung in flagship race. I can see doom days for Samsung ahead.

Judging by th performance, S5 win but with a slight margin. Because cameRa and audio are so important, but seeing them both side by side z2 wins. Z2 resembles z1, but it was thoroughly trimmed to look a lot gorgeous. S5 went for better performance, but s4 looks more tacky. In the end, it's all about choice.

3 most important things for me that makes z2 the clear winner: 1. Battery life 2. Better water ip rating 3. Premium build and design (you get what you paid for) and comes with more RAM ... again guys it's quality over quantity!
