S5 also , once its 6month-1year use will make the same effect after all that is the common disadvantage of AMOLED ... Thats why even samsung using diamond pixel arrangement and bigger blue pixel ..

One would think that's obvious. Like it or not the only advantage the G3s screen has is that you see letters a tiny bit clearer.

First off LCDs have "fake" colors too. Especially LG IPS being among some of the most saturated. Plus the have fake blacks, fake whites, and weak contrast with more reflection.
Nor does Amoled turn a green shirt yellow. And knowing you, you probably left out the moviemode setting on purpose.

+ why people need a screen with less subpixels than full HD ( bcoz of samsung's diamond pentile pixel arrangement).
even samsung knows it will burn out and will become bluish any time .. so how u say amoled have more quality .. then y diamond pixel arrangement ... !!! LG is superior in LCD and OLED technologies compared to samsung.

coz its not straining eyes . i own a LED TV coz i like to watch movies colourful ..
Coming to mobile , i prefer LCD again coz i dont want fake colours .. if you buy a green t-shirt ,ul end up in getting a yellow one .. i always compare this on my G2 vs my friend's S4 .. poor guy dont have answer for this .. yeah he use to show me the pure black of AMOLED (yeah good for watching movies with 2 big BLACK bands on top and bottom )

Hey guys, I want to ask you all a simple question. Would you prefer an LCD TV or an LED one? I think everyone with normal eyes and a right mind would prefer the LED one, right? Because it's just simply better. LED TVs display very gorgeous pictures, and that's why they're always, and I mean ALWAYS more expensive than LCD ones. And the display on the S5 is NOT only LED, it's Super AMOLED, meaning it's the 4th generation from LED, and even more, it's the 3rd generation of Super AMOLED from the S3. So just be logical, the S5's screen is miles away from th G3's. The displaymate will confirm that. The implementation of QHD screen on a 5.5 inch screen is really just a stupid move. If the only real advantage of it is to see text more crisply, while sacrificing battery life and performance then its plain stupid. I am now reading very small texts from an S3 and the texts are crisp enough for me. So I can just imagine just how crisp the texts are on the S5.
And the S5 even has a mode to make its Super AMOLED to display the most natural of colors.
It's just too obvious that the overkill move by LG does more harm than good. So I really wonder why Gsmarena didn't see that.
The gorgeousness of the 3rd generation Super AMOLED on the S5 is simply unrivaled.

S series is such a big failure. The ugliest phone ever with so many useless innov. Luckily there is no award for ugly n useless. If do,samsung will dominate every year.

as u can see the flop show of S4 exynos chipset from samsung .........lol ..........SAMSUNG planned not to keep continuing with its worst chipset ........... LG G3 is way best phone then SNAP 805 S5 PRIME .......

My daily driver is a G2 and I feel no great pull from either phone to upgrade, despite my disappointment at LG's failure to add an SD slot to the G2. I have no problem with personal preference and fully understand some will prefer the S5, and good for them. I just think there's a trend to bash anything that isn't a Samsung from people who should be more "neutral". For the record, I would not have wasted my cash on an LG handset prior to the G2, despite a brief spell with a "Prada" back in the day which even back then was relatively ground breaking. Read the full article amd not just the conclusion for the categories. It's just weird to see S5 winning but the conclusions declare G3 as coming out on top.

Ifv you read my post you'd notice I've owned several Galaxy models. Being as I'm now a grown up I tend to buy the phone that offers me the best experience for my cash not stick to one make because I'm too weak minded to make informed decisions for myself. I didn't knock Samsung, I just said LG are better at this moment, and the reason LG got the nod for the screen is it's a better screen. I actually prefer the G2 screen to the S5!
