      QHD is totally pointless on a screen under 6" the only thing it will do is drain battery faster and push the GPU harder, it's sad that manufacturers are pushing for resolutions above 1080p on phones instead of improving the quality of the panel because consumers are stupid and gullible believing all the marketing bullshit.

          I appreciate the great hardware advances by both companies, though actually expected more, but it is the Android OS leaking like a sieve that turns me off. They are just too insecure.

            Which version of the G3 that gsmarena used in this comparison ? G3 Korea or G3 Global version ?

            First,i saw more G3 korea version hands on videos, G3 Korea version has a Snapdragon 801 chipset - MSM8974PROAC but in this comparison that gsmarena wrote G3 has a chipset Snapdragon 801 chipset - MSM8975AC ( that's why gsmarena said G3 chipset over S5 ). Is G3 has 2 different spec for the chipset ???

            Second, i saw in the hands on video between G3 korea & G3 Global version. G3 korea has 2 pins(connector) inside the back cover for NFC support, when the G3 global version has 4 pins(connector) for NFC & Wireless charging support. Does it mean that G3 korea back cover doesn't support for wireless charging ??? or The G3 korea version doesn't support wireless charging at all ???

                  You know, I used to love this site for their unbiased commentary but the increasingly pro-Samsung stance is now starting to get old. LG have shown with the G2 and G3 that innovation isn't dead and if we can't praise them for being fresh and new then what's the point. Of course the benchmarks suffer when you're pushing this many pixels but perhaps it was fast enough anyway. I really hope we're not just turning the whole mobile phone industry into a pure numbers game because if we do, that will stifle innovation in favour of horsepower and GSM will be every bit as much to blame as those who think quality = FPS. Everyone is so busy yapping about heart rate scanners and barometers that there's barely any column-inches spent on call quality, signal strength or other "phone" related issues. For me (a former Galaxy S2, S3 and S4 owner. The G2 and G3 are damned fine phones and to make them sound so pallid when compared to the over-sensored under-designed S5 is to do them a dis-service. Go LG!

It must have hurt S5 buyers, but they defended so much though they earn nothing from supporting Samsung. The looks of LG G3 is modernistic while Iphones and Samesungs were stuck to their old days.

                      That's basically the biggest fault I give the S5. Even though 2GB is still great there was no excuse for it.

                      They were first with 3GB, are leaders in development of these chips, most with 3GB chips are using a Samsung one, and they 4GB around the corner.
                      No excuse.

                                  Dear all, sgs5 has more sensors but lgg3 is less sensor. My point is how many likes to use all sensor?. Whenever more sensor means high possible of risk of mal functions. Both are operates android os, so apps are 100% as same as. Now a days we are mainly using some functions ie camera, web others? !!!? . We need to see the main items battery duration, RAM, power of antena ( Still Nokia 3310 IS VERY GOOD capturing capability than others. Because the antenna is more powerful). If our view goes to sensors then we are fools.

                                    Seriously, "ugly" and "beautiful" are very subjective. S5 for me is perfect: clean and simple appearance, maximized surface useability, rubberized rear finish (it doesn't scratch much).

                                      I dont know about you guys but even if Galaxy S5 beat LG G3 is every aspect ill still go for LG. Cmon you guys seen the Galaxy S5 in real life? it looks like shit. like the first Galaxy S, only difference being the screen size thats all. Sure the Galaxy S5 will give me more features, better performance, better productivity but i cant imagine myself waking up to its ugly face every morning.
