OnePlus One review: When opportunity strikes

i got after 3 month being member an invite... and yes here in europe also local dealers got the oneplus one in stock at least a few... but for which price my friends, 200€ over the price, yes i confirm, ive seen the phone in shops of czech republic, rumania, germany, spain, austria... upto 500€ for the 64gb version, while i bought it for 300€ with the invite, plus ive send later on 2 invites to my father and gf, bought 2 more and sold them for around 400€ , cheaper than any dealers in europe, gained 200€, so at the end my oneplus one was 100€ for me, beat that my friends and complainers haha, 1+1 rocks and u know it.

AnonD-86411, 16 Jul 2014Gsma is kind of totally marketing this phone. No doubt the ... moreIt's not GSMA marketing. It's just easier for people in some Asian countries to buy it without any invites because dealers stock the phones as they get to order it in bulk.
Eventually it's going to find it's way to many other countries, problem is by then maybe it's already too late with the market looking forwards to behemoths like 810/808 and other new SoC based phones.
It's a good phone for the price but not something to be so angered that you can't buy it. Not like it's so amazing or something.

No doubt the ... moreThe phone itself is a true beast or even a champ, what i don't believe in is their selling technique, i think it stinks and it'll be their downfall. Unless they start selling it enmasse they will lose out big time, the vast majority of interest has already jumped ship to the likes of the LG G3 or competitors.
Personally i'd love to have a 1+1 but they're not exactly making it easy to buy one, lol Just take my caaaaash :)

I am waiing for this review and still confused between obeplus, moto x or nexus 5. After readin this review I decided to buy oneplus. No regret. Great screen, great battery, great call quality, great speaker, great camera and software. No screen issue so far!

If you are going to buy the Z2 then you are hardly missing out on anything really by not getting the OnePlus One.

I'm interested in this phone but the yellow line issue on screens and the stupid invite setup pushed me away. Oh well, z2 got my money

We can already get in Malaysia and Singapore from local dealers who have stocked it up in bulk. This invite thing is a PR stunt nothing more. They are shipping to anyone who buys in bulk. Yes for individual orders you may need an invite but why should it matter if your local stores have it in stock?
It is true though not a lot of countries are getting that sort of attention from them so those people will have to depend on invites. The truth is the invite is a just a PR stunt it is not being enforced in many regions of Asia.

This seriously annoys me. You gotta have an invite to buy a phone? Are you kidding me? That's like saying you have to be a chosen one to actually buy a phone. Honestly waiting for the Xperia z3. Or I'll just be happy with the already classic HTC One
