To say we are eager to get the Xperia Z3 out for a spin would be a massive understatement – with the race track still warm from the Compact. After all, if the Robin in Sony’s IFA lineup can do that well, we can only imagine...

          Audiophile top sets like Marantz etc. have an ability to manage frequency responses, frequency range, noise, etc. as to set the hifi sound output to ones liking...

          Sony has done a better job managing a better sounding hifi output than Htc, that is MY OPINION, not fact for everyone...

          You may not have the same opinion, but it is on the subject to conclude which audio setting fits his ears best...

          No, loudness does not make a better sound output, but stereo speakers hifi settings do...fact!
          That is why Z2/Z3 will always stand above the likes of S5, 5S or G3...
          and I do not care for the Htc's headphone volume output strength for example, cause it does not mean the quality of the sound is better

          Furthermore, real audiophiles listen to music only on average loudness in as much as noiseless surrounding, cause it provides the best listening experience...

          Sony comes closest on mobile to that with it's noise cancelling headset tech
          And they set their speaker output frequency range to mimic that sound experience by narrowing frequency response so all the backnoise is off

          That is HiFi sound they are claiming to provide through their flagship...

          And Htc has its HiFi sound setting, which some people may preffer more...I don't

                Well, I actually believe this 6 month cycle is smart, they will be ditching the low and mid range which generate losses, and will start outing flagships twice a year...
                The line of products top notch, prices down for only 0.5 -1 year old premium phones, while the newest get a shorter interval for improving to close to perfect in all ways, just like Z3 is....

                That is a good strategy IMO

                  The chip and display will be much better. Battery as well too. With much better speakers.
                  What I'm really curious to see is if they finally really fix or even update the camera.
                  This much time with the same sensor and it's still lacking from it's true potential.

                      Already used both phones some time ago, besides the bigger icons, there's very little change, still uses the 801, still had the same grainy camera, hard to believe but is true. Passing software implementations as an upgrade is something a certain fruit named company does, surely Sony don't want to go down that route. Poor play Sony.

                          Haters are always gonna hate!I just got this beauty today and it is easily the best Xperia to date! I thought about getting the iP6 Plus but so glad I opted for this instead. You have to see and hold it to appreciate what I'm talking about. Build quality, look and feel which is premium, the camera is great and the screen even better than that on the Z2! Nothing is perfect but this comes damn close.....roll on Z4, you have a great act to follow and beat. Wow....

                              I don't think Sony will announce the Z4 at CES or MWC as the review says. Or maybe the will announce it on February, and release it on spring time.

                                Compare the db on tests, m8 is louder only on ringtone...
                                Settings are different, all I can hear it has less background noise than m8 while playing music...
                                IMO it sounds better even though the dynamic range is lesser
                                Even the reviewer in video tells on some instances z3 sounds better, on some m8...

                                So, your conclusion is just as subjective as mine....
                                But let the viewers decide themselves if it is equal in loudness and quality

                                What I found funny is this sites reviews comments, "m8 is the loudest out there...", "in z3 we were somewhat dissapointed with loudness of speakers..."
                                !?!?

                                      Glass and aluminum are no less cheap recyclable materials. As well as being less durable and practical.

                                        sony forgot to put something on the Z3 screen .the 'Soap Opera effect' ..I mean the 'Motion Flow tecnology ' (120 hz or 200hz )..don't know is it gonna work on software thingy devices like computers or smartphone ..or maybe it's just for TV's. Don't know :/
