AnonD-314503, 11 Oct 2014Where is the real world experience? Those app startup and l... moreOh wow. They do things a tiny little bit faster by having system wide restriction/lock down and lacking any useful or current set of features. ...
But then have the world lead in app crashes, bugs, and keep freezing and lagging a lot.
Plus use inferior hardware and cost more.....

Wow. ...but the brand new gpu and lack of features let's the benchmark have you believe it works. ...

So amazing. ..

    Congratulations.

As well as in compete denial of how drastically worse the real life usage of ios is.

X, 11 Oct 2014Flash a custom ROM on a new 6-700 bucks phone? No thanks, I... moreFlashing custom rom has nothing to do with software.. It means getting rooted and installing what you want..
Don't tell IOS is perfect.. I would like flashing rom over ios, if possible though, rather than on Android. So custom rom means cracking for fun and not because of dissatisfaction.

Have Samsung finally fixed the purple ghosting issue with their screens? I've just got rid of my s5 partly because it annoys me so much. I love the punchy colours and deep blacks but it's a major issue that needs addressed also screen colour uniformity. I swapped 2 phones in the return window trying to get one with uniform whites and greys before giving up and just accepting it.

AnonD-317956, 12 Oct 2014...for all phones, you can always find fault in anything...... moreAbsolutely right. I have the m8 and the 5s and they are both great each in a different way. I can not seem to understand this raging war between fanboys of each side and what benefit they are getting from this endless war unless they have shares in these companies :)

...for all phones, you can always find fault in anything...I forgot who said this (maybe on this thread or another) but basically stated: "all companies wont make a perfect phone, if they did, the next iteration wouldn't improve anything..."

Apple and Samsung are both great companies, both have great innovation, both are respected industry leaders...in the end, its to the benefit of the end user that these companies are trying "one up" another...keep the competition, keep innovating and we all end up winners.

AnonD-314503, 12 Oct 2014Yeah! After all, its user's preference between the two platforms.exactly, 100% agree with you there...on another "note", the wifey is a huge apple fan but she couldnt take her eyes off the Note...I was suspicious of the metal band, but in hand the Note 4 is something to behold...I totally recommend if you have sometime this weekend, heading out to Bestbuy just to play with it for a few minutes...its pretty cool.

I like the 6+ too though, im between that and the Note 4...I just cant get over making sure I dont sit too long with the 6+ in my pocket...I'll get a case for it if I get a 6+ but then whats the point of having a slim phone?

Ran the same apps, cleared all previous apps, they are both fast (dont get me wrong, the 6+ is def quick) but any lag being a huge con is overstated. Not talking benchmarks...just talking what I saw and experienced firsthand, literally in hand.

AnonD-314503, 11 Oct 2014Anyone can write a blog, but thats fine rather than a play ... morestraight from Apple:

                                        https://developer.apple.com/app-store/review/guidelines/

why list dont manipulate as a guideline? Because they know it happens.

                                        Here's another article from digitaltrends:

                                        http://www.digitaltrends.com/mobile/pay-for-play-are-marketers-manipulating-apples-app-store-rankings/

Yes anyone can write a blog, but when multiple outlets report on it and the Company has to come out and explicitly address it, its a concern.

malware is very limited in Play and their detection is quick. You would have to be very limited in your understanding of apps to DL them.
