I love windows phone and its now a week since I bought 830 but it reboots every after 2-3 hours and while charging it stops at 80%. What is the problem!!!

This Phone is value for money, for this price the specification are good. Upgraded to Win10 for free, the processor is still fast even tho other model are faster (eg. 1520). The camera is good and Smooth. The design may be ugly to some, but it still useful. I have dropped it 7x Due to carelessness none crack the screen or broke the internal software. Tho it over heat sometimes due to gaming, cause it to hang (not often). Safety, comparing your phone to other brands, Windows Phone offers good safety and security backup. Lost ur phone u can traces, Reset password online, Clear data online, Reset phone can reload you contact Easier. So Simple. Lastly, it still keeps up with it Nokia "unbreakable" name like the 3310. But my 830 short lived after 2 years as it drops on the road while I was riding, was still perfect, till a Double Decker Bus ran over it cause the internal digital screen to crack same for the camera. The display has gone but internal storage can be still used if u remember ur Lock screen password position, Alarm still works, plus the phone can pick up phone calls. Now that's awesome for a dead phone.

This is a fantastic phone. I've been using it for a very long time now and I couldn't be happier. Of course I'd like a larger, sharper display, or more RAM, or a more powerful processor, or a more advanced camera. But for how much I paid, and how much I got, this is a fantastic phone.

This phone rocks on GDR2; although AT&T took so long to release it. The build quality man!! Miss you Nokia. I took a look at the 950 XL store demo and it was hideous compared to 830/930 design. What were MS thinking - a very expensive windows 10 NEXUS?? I will be getting the smaller 950 anyway :P Cant beat those specs!

I am having trouble with viewing photo's. They either go grey, totally, or have a grey block half of the picture. Often when I try to view pictures I get a message "cannot retrieve the photo, try again later".
I am using an SD card to store, could the problem be there ?

Bu... moreWell, in order to have a file manager which could make you WP8.1 manage even your micro SD card, just find it in the Windows Phone app market (or whatever its called), write in the search cell "file manager", and you should find what you need in order to download it.
Then, for attaching documents to mails, from the file manager (or Office or Acrobat Reader app, all of them should work, though I use the file manager most part of the time), type again in the search cell the name of the document you would like to send (unless you already know where it is), attached to a mail, and push on the corresponding surface of the screen for few seconds, in order to make the sharing options appear. Right after, you should be able to send them in a usual MMS, by mail, through Facebook and so on, even through Bluetooth or NFC, if it is switched on.
It is not very logical, IMO, but it is how it works, and it worked well, so far, on my Lumia 920.

I'm getting this phone this month. It's on great discount at my carrier. Can't wait to get back to Windows Phone coming from Android (Moto G). Android just isn't for me.

This is the worst phone I get to use in my life,waist of money all the way around.WOW.Shame on you.

I've purchased this new windows phone with big hope.
But two issues annoyed me most and I'm totally upset.
1. Whenever any mail reply is going to be initiated which needs to attach files. Attachment button directs always to pictures folder.
2. No better app to play local stored sd or phone music.
3. Totally neglected about sd card stored contents mostly.
I want to draw attention to the r&d people. Please don't disheartened me. I switched from android to windows with big expectations. But these silly unusual behavior of this phone makes me upset :(
