Sure, there were many Apple/Sony fan-boys and shills who kept bashing the plastic back, but not only they probably won't buy a Samsung anyway, but their recently bad seles were not because of the design. They were bad exactly because we are not Apple fan-boys and we want more for the money (And yes, they were not only not good enough, but expensive too, especially low-mid range devices, which were total joke). So what did they do? Exactly the opposite of what they had to. More expensive and more "premium" (Meaning less emphasis on the tech/practical aspect).

Which is getting totally ridiculous as smartphones nowadays are something totally common and not exactly a thing to brag with

with SD card:
16GB = $11.90
32GB = $17.85
64GB = $23.8
That explains why Samsung needs profits on SD cards by having $100 for additional memory on S6 in trying to pull up declining profits.

Personally it's not a deal breaker not having microSD but if a phone doesn't support USB OTG and Direct transfer when using with PC then for me it's not even worth to be called a "smartphone". This is probably the basic reason I never considered getting an iPhone.

This is a stupid move from Samsung - to remove SD card slot and replaceable battery. Doing away with replaceable battery - I understand. It was a choice between old design (admittedly with an unique advantage) which was critized heavily Vs new design which was kind of forced on them. But doing away with SD slot - the significant advantage over idevices. Very hard to understand why Samsung wants to lose a weapon on their armour. This is not going to bring icustomers to Samsung in any case. S6 sales will teach them a huge lesson and possibly the start of Nokia level slide into losses.

Yes OTG is useful, but should not be a forced replacement. And cloud is anything but the same as having swappable physical storage that fits right in.
Yes the newer much faster and more efficient storage in higher amounts is great. But should still have a slot to go with it.
And the USB 3.0 would have greatly benefited.

So i have to pay tons of money for more expensive internal money and not only that, but i have to do it again with my next phone? Cloud? Sure, cause it has so much in common with physical storage, which is for real-time usage, while cloud is for backup. Your logic: Why eating breat when you can always drink Soda"? USB OTG? Sure, cause it's perfectly comfortable to use your phone with a usb flash hanging (And it's especially "comfortable" to plug/unplug every time you need to charge your phone. Which can be more than once a day. Which reminds me an external battery should also be plugged to it..)

I don't know certain, but I believe the egde model will be a good seller, unless the price difference is too much.
It won't be anywhere near of apples iPhone, but let Sammy care about that that.

So, unless they sell the 128gb version here, it's useless to me. But they won't sell it here. Only the 32Gb. I'm praying they don't make the note 5 without a card slot.
