Well,the thickest flagship fone in the world with the worst battery ever.not even removable.display size nd screen size soo lousy.sd10 heating issues.no IOS nd so on.this shit is soo crazy.4get this HTC.mmmmm tank u!.my beloved Sony Z4 is on the way!!!

Just played with it for some 20 minutes following are my observations:
1) very nice looks very appealing design some great polishing of metal.
2) simply poor camera (trust me I am really being honest) very good front camera you can say best amongst all flagships.
3) sense ui made more complicated, gallery again very complicated.
If I am going to buy it will be only because of the built quality and looks. I hate the kind of fonts htc chooses specially when you read the sent email on a pc it's not professional I won't like to reply to an official email using this.

However using... moreThis site is all about resolved detail, its always the number one priority, things that matter more are always sweeped under the carpet without much mentioning. Like, the M9 takes impressive panoramas but is rejected in this review due to low resolved detail.
I too think its a mistake by htc to sacrifice overall still image quality for resolved detail, a stupid trend that is unfortunately preferred by many, esp reviewers on this site, the camera sections on reviews here can safely be disregarded, look at the samples and dont read the text.

I really wanted to like (and buy) this phone. However using the image compare thing on here, my ancient iPhone 4 takes pictures less noisy than the m9s!

Samsung often sell their flagships here even before than United States and even Apple is here with some of the highest prices in the world. But HTC don't give a shot...

I was really looking forward to this phone being my next phone. People talk about how the design is lacking but in my opinion it's the best looking HTC One yet (I own a Samsung, not HTC). My areas of concern are the battery, it's average at best considering it should be better for its size. It needs to be better for the price, the M8 was. The camera is lacking (image stabilization is much needed). The pictures should at minimum produce clear, detailed images. A Sony sensor should have been required. I'm not asking for Nikon quality, just confidence when I do decide to use the camera. A good battery and a decent camera shouldn't be sacrificed. I won't get another Samsung but I'm not fully sold on the M9.
