To help you further, be guided by the reviews coming out fr. diff. reliable and reputable sources, then asses w/c is the best. Of course we all want the best our money can buy.

These should be the only 3 phones that they release bi-annually. All other phones they release is a waste of their investment. They're losing the cheap mobile market, the mid range is over saturated so the high-end, which is equally busy, is their only market left they should focus on. Let the other OEMs battle out the lower-mid market, and focus on the high-end with some stronger marketing promotions backing it. Design opinion; bring back the arc.

So it's first 4k cell phone...? Any expert who can guide me.. I'm currently using Xperia z2 and it was a very gud experience, I'm quite happy with Sony.. But now I'm thinking to switch over to IPhone 6s as I like to experience everything.. Also tried windows phone in the past.... So which one would be better Xperia z5 premium with 4k or IPhone 6s whose features also sounds very catchy.....???

This. I might consider going back to Sony. Hope this would turn out really good. Hate the accessories though, but love the those pair of earphones.

I have no complaints w/ the design, because HONESTLY it looks classy and most of all, the added Functionality - being Waterproof. Improvement overtime makes more SENSE rather than varying design or being very thin w/c we all know CLEARLY, are not assurance of reliability at all times.

Thinner phones will result in bending in your jeans, like iPhones, that's the worst case for your smartphone
Anyway, thicker phones make you comfortable to take pictures using one hand, seriously

OMG, 07 Sep 2015OMG they look like Bricks :)) to build a house in construct... moreSamsung make slim phone, the result you have to buy a protect casing to prevent drop off damage, Apple make slim phone, the result you need to buy a casing too to prevent bend it in the pocket, they have the same result is the camera len can not as slim as it body.

Photos from Z5 Compact look better in Superior Auto mode...but for at least 1 year from now, I will keep my Z3Compact, I bought the phone last year in December, very good phone...I wish I could make pictures with my phone 16/9 at 21mp...

I REALLY hoped to see 1080p in in the Z5 Compact (the rumored Premium version is Japan only). Too bad Sony. I can easily wait one more year and by that time I'll be demanding a replaceable battery, also.

Finally, sony is placing the microusb slot on the bottom! I never thought I would see the day. Wow Sony it took years for you to finally realize how pathetic it was when all you phones had the microusb slot on the side! Who wants that? It looks ridiculous when you use your phone while charging, plus it's a nightmare for people who plan to use dacs on their sony phones. I've always loved some of your phones but I never had the urge to buy one because of this design. The people in your company who thought that the placement of the microsb port on the side for years should be fired.

Z5 Premium should get 6.5 in GFX benchmark (judging by the performance drop from 720p to to 1080p and then calculating it for 4K) which is pretty bad :\
BUT there are already some rumors that it could operate as a 1080p display unless its really necessary to go for 4k (VR and stuff..)
