While at the pool it also help for grabbing the phone. You can also use one hand for shooting without worry drop down the phone just like Compact Digital Camera do. How to make it more beautiful/gorgeous/stylish or make it ugly/terrible/mess it depends on personal how to use it.

**Regarding camera flash**
Review states " single flash only, would have been nice to have duel tone flash" (paraphrase)
The flash is in fact neutral white tone. Not warm nor cold white as is standard on many less swish handsets.
Essentially it does not need gimmicky "duel tone" LEDs as its one led right in the best wavelength.
It does get damn warm after short (2 mins) of use as flashlight. And its NOT as bright as my moto RAZR m flash either.
Perfectly fine for night portraits though, just not for floodlighting as I use my RAZR m for Lol.

Why do SONY still do these ugly lanyard eyelet? It ruins the nice minimalistic design of the phone. No one is using them anyway. I don't know anyone using it.

Surprised you didn't mention the lack of magnetic charge port - a significant reason for my Z3 purchase.
Not enough change for me to change - Sony must get hi def screens and cordless charge to get my next buy - in the meantime I love my z3 compact.

Aspros, 11 Oct 2015In a wedding, i made about 200 photos with my Z5c, in vario... morevery true and agree to your comments. GSMArena uses the default mode while shooting. Also the point to note is that GSMArena uses a test version of the phone and not the retail version.
Under any circumstances, the camera of z5C cannot be bad than z3C or s6. It is obviously and understandably excellent than any smartphone in the market. Its very obvious only if you understand how cameras work!

So the camera is better than the Z3c, but they have dropped the wireless charging. Meh, I'll sit this one out, not worth switching.

Quantify, 09 Oct 2015I didn't pick up on the relatively bad edge sharpness of th... moreOk, i have been playing around with thw z5c now and here are som pros and cons.
Pros: Superb build, fast , clean ui , great camera in good light, ( i would say better than g4, and just below s6), great battery, nice and bright screen, very relieble FS.
Cons: Somewhat laggy after reboot ( only the first min but still), camera is somewhat unrelieble in lowlight, camera is a little slow to start. glass back, in the beginning i had som reception problems but thats ok now. wifi a little weak compeard to z3.
I will give the phone 8.5/10. Its is very good in almost all areas, i will give it 9.0 or 9.5 if/ when they optimize the overall camera ( as they promiesd) and the ui. I am overall very happy with the phone, kinda expensiv though.

The standby on Z3C was huge, nearly double that of the stated for Z5C. If you were to curb the huge power drain of those "big" cores, this phone would probably have as good or better battery than Z3C.

All of those are the maximum achievable times when performing only that task. It's or/or/or, not and/and/and. So after 28h of talking, a Z5c will do 0 video playback or Web browsing.

I'm a bit confused on the battery life portion. I can't see how the Z5 compact got a much lower overall rating when compared to the Z3 compact. Looking at the scores, which are as follows:
Z5C- 28:23h (talk time), 11:20h (web browsing), 13:04h (video playback) = 52:78
Z3C- 16:40h (talk time), 14:52h (web browsing), 15:03h (video playback = 46:58
Show the Z5C beating the Z3C by 6 hours 20 minutes. Something seems very off here.
