I would say its reviews of Sony phones aren't fair.
Sony really is " Like No Other" the magic statement.
Sony means:
the best design.
the best build quality.
the best camera.
the durability.
the best reliability.

    Obviously they tested it. It was just the only main option for a top end chip.

    The explanation to that is you must not have ever been to any other page except one with Sony in the title.
    Ever since the very first Snapdragon 810 device has been released all people have done is criticize the S810 and every device with it.
    Where planet have you been on this whole time??

      And you can whine all you want in denial but the results speak for themselves.
      Even Sony themselves admitted there will be an update because of issues with the software.....
      Though that is more for other aspects. The images will probably still be the same.

            sony beat samsung in camera, in 4K recording (5minutes vs 20 minutes), in build quality, in protection from water damage (ip cert vs non), in audio (active noise cancelling vs none), in smoothness operation (bad ram management, laggy keyboar etc). sooo saad!!!

              i know it is sad that the best cameraphone is not a samsung device according to dxo mark. so sad!!! try harder next year samsung!! admit defeat this year!!

                      I always love going to the comments section right after reading a good review. There are sooo many people fighting over which phone is best. And soo many people trolling just to watch flames erupt from the fanboys. I find all these hostility amusing.

                      IMO though the z5 seems like a great phone. But it just seems a bit behind the competition

                        I think here's much more other brand employees are commented but this ia the reality Sony ia the best smartphone maker and in 2015 Sony is the best mobile hardware manufacturer
                        So guys growup

                          SONY make a bad move in past year with SD810. they did not test the device but release it. now lots of OEM's are putting SD810 in to there flagship. but peoples are only trolling SONY. can someone explain me why????

                            It only is not best in nightshots, but I believe that too can be remedied by incorporating feedback loop stabilisation, ie inteligent active mode they use with video, which is best above all...
                            Dxo Mark are camera experts, doing much more enhanced testing on cameras than any phone review site ever does....
                            All negating their test results of putting Z5 on top, are just bias and wishfull thinking...

                                Someone said, i am biggest sony troll. No, i am only ex sony user. I love sony, and still. I have expected too much from sony. You knew what happen.

                                My question is why? it must be something wrong. Ya, i think sony ceo is the one to blame. I never troll, only make opinion. Ya, sometimes i am only tired to know sony make the same mistake again an again, never improve, never learn, upgrade specs only.

                                Yes, with standard featureless phone, light modded UI, playstation, it will only attract young male stupid who love gaming. Girl, old man, business man, business women, smart young people, are not interested. Thats why sony always fail.

I also very angry, because the DXOMARK show Sony get the highest score in camera for Z5, they dont believe, but when the DXOMARK show their phone get higher score in the formerly test result, they are selectively believe it!!!!!! I really can not understand why they are so bias to Sony,if Sony stop making smartphone will they happy???!!!

                                        Those S series as you say it, are far far better than your beloved Sony Z series, yeah, I know you are sad, and angry, if you are a Sony fanboy you should be though.

                                        Ask them to make a phone which will stay as it is after using it for six months or something, without the need of a case, then I might start thinking about actually looking into these. I see my colleague's Z2 once every week. It took less than a month for him to make that phone look like utter (rap, I mean those scratches on that ugly back cover, jeez!

                                        I am completely ignoring the other negatives for the time being! Like their cameras aren't actually better than those S series or other flagships too. There is a huge problem with quality control, exactly how many Xperias got cracked just by putting it into a jean's pocket? There is also the mention of self cracking! Hilarious! Then camera quality degradation on bootloader unlocking! Those huge bezels, LOL! I can go on, but I think I have made my point. I am sorry to say even those LG phones are actually better than Sony phones nowadays, and God knows how much I hate LG.

                                        I read quite a lot, XDA etc., not some paid off places, remember that.
