But you have to remember that the z5c is around the same size of an iPhone and has 720p, and it also has all the stuff the z5 has. I don't like phones that small but in my opinion the compact stood out more than Sony's other phones, and it fills the niche of a small android phone with flagship specs. Plus if you look at it's gpu benchmarks its comparable to the 6s.
All in all though, benchmarks don't mean much because they all run the latest games perfectly anyway. If you were to do something unconventional like play an emulator, then those higher benchmarks mean something.

But the perfect device ... moreOh and I forgot the screen of the 6S aswell. But know about the rest of you but I don't sit with my phone 1 inch form my eye counting pixels all day, so 750p is fine.
The benefits are guaranteed smooth gameplay at 60fps. the last time I bought a TV the sales person said that on a 37 inch screen and at normal view distances there is little benefit going form 720p to 1080p. So why screen of less than 6 inches need 1080p or more is beyond me.
I used to favour AMOLED screen Tech, but it appears the longevity of these screens in drastically lower than LCD and burn in is still an issue.
Plus 4.7-5 inches is the sweet spot for me.

My Choice of the 3 is iPhone 6S.
But the perfect device would be an amalgamation of the 3.
Water resistance (it's not water proof any more by Sony's own admission), PS4 Remote play and Battery life of the Z5.
Camera, MST payment capability, wireless charging of the Galaxy S6.
Design, IOS software (and as such the long term support and ecosystem on offer), A9 SOC, Touch ID sensor of the iPhone 6S.
Put all those into one device and that'll be me sorted.

best cost benefit ratio/ has sd card for up to 220 gb space, (ry buying iphone 6s or galaxy s6 with 128 gb with their pricetags, so you dont have to worry for your 4k video feature storage, or flac files, or ... and then talk about affordability)

These forums are not your little propaganda platforms for your Sony Bias. if people can post comments like 'Z5 is the Best', then I am surely free to post the opposite without you constantly niggling at me!

The last part of the conclusion basicly says it al. I think we smartphone fans all feel/know what is missing from the phones we own, or the brands we prefer. We are capable to predict what next years model will be like, and what is more important: what it will not be like. It all comes down to manufacturers' policy.

Xperia rocks, 27 Oct 2015Hmmm. Looks like Samsung is now undercutting prices to sell... moreI think there is a you say an element of 'predator pricing' going on with the Galaxy S6 at the moment, the difference in price now compared to what it launched at is quite striking (at least in the uk).
There are other factors I think though, Sony are smart enough to launch a series of devices in line (Z5C, Z5 and Z5 Premium etc.) Samsung however stagger their relapse cycle, the S6 in March or was it April? and then the Note 5 in September. I think releasing the Note 5 later causes the previous device to fall in value as it's perceived to be older and therefor inferior.
Sony avoid this by releasing a range simultaneously (ok the Premium is a few weeks later but you get my point). This way not one of the range is considered to be the older device and their price can just be reflective of where they sit in the line up.
Another factor is the depreciation that occurs naturally in the Android space, it's a fact that Androids do not hold value well, when I bought my G4 at launch in May I paid £505 from Clove Technology (and that was the plastic back version, not the leather) now though it's selling at £372. The Z5 by contrast went on sale with Clove at £549.99 just a couple of weeks ago, now its £529.99.
Android devices hit the market at vastly overrated prices (with a few exceptions) and those prices fall quickly, that's just the way it is.
But I agree, the recent rate of reduction in the S6 price has quickened, that suggests Samsung are trying to a degree to undercut newer competition.

I got into this thread because TannHauser made claims regarding aspects of the Z5 being superior to the other competitors, and I disagreed.
Now if you go back and read my first post here you'll see I didn't disagree with all of his claims he made, just a few (mainly around the Finger Print scanner, screen and GPU performance). And as a result I got his usual abuse.
FOR THE LAST TIME THAT IS NOT TROLLING!!!!!.....it's called discussion, and if you can't differentiate between the two I would argue you have no place posting on here!!
Look either back up the claims you make towards me or get lost!!!!

Also do you believe that I have as much right to comment on my negative experience with a device as someone who has a positive experience?? (please answer this)

and before you go off on the usual rant I get from the likes of TannHauser (who by the way posted the vast majority of the 50 reply's you mentioned) I did in that thread freely admited that my experience was limited and could have been the result of a faulty unit (you would know this if as you say you read that thread).
What I got for simply commenting on my experience are accusations of 'lying' 'trolling' and the most funny and sad at the same time 'being someone who is paid to make Sony' look bad.
The paranoia on display here is quite frankly sickening, and I will thank you all to stop accusing me of such things, in the end I cannot prove what I say is true any more than the likes of you can prove I am lying (and I sure as hell am not posting any receipts just to satisfy any paranoid lunatics), So be decent and give me the benefit of the doubt, you don't like what I say then counter it with discussion (or at least try your limited best to) and not childish accusation.
If I were trolling in the true sense of the word and not your own petty take on it, I am sure the GSMArena moderators would have picked up on this and removed my posts entirely

But I do know that the Adreno 430 is not a stronger GPU than the PowerVR in the iPhone 6S. That has been proven by countless tests including GFXbenchmark which standardises the resolution and graphics Api for a fair and level playing field.
In the end though, it doesn't really matter, on an iPhone 6S I can play games with superior graphics at a constant 60fps without the device melting into my hand, that is not something an owner of a Galaxy S6 or Xperia Z5 can say. The technical details of how this is achieved are ultimately irrelevant, it's the end result that is important.
That said I am tired of the likes of TannHauser making nonsense claims just to suit their brand based bias.
