The only area i dispute completely is with the comparison with competitors like the galaxy s6, gsmarena claiming its the best camera and video performer? if u want to argue with camera performance for stills no issue, but the fact u guys actually claim it records video better says bias i have to say. There's simply no device right now that can match the z5 in video stabilization and performance. That's a simple fact that has been proved time and time again with various reviews and comparisons. They can dispute the stills that's their opinion, i have also seen different but the video claim is ludicrous to say the least.

Look at it, the battery is one of the giant, yet...
test it with ONLY 78 NITS and the result still POOR for 2016 flagship
sigh..... what a waste.
not sure what cause it, either that unnecesarry screen or the 810?
Compare to endurance of z3 compact with only 2600 mAh battery

the only separator between me and this phone is the money to be truthful, but damn that mirror like chrome is very tempting, very premium indeed Sony, very premium indeed.
the review's closing word is very wise and i like it. Great job GSMArena. 4K might not be needed, but it is doable and to push the technology forward. Plus native or not, its output will render anything smoother, just like Macbook Retina Display does.

Dont forget that Z5P new camera got less battery drain and can record 53mins of 4K. Also mics got better(they are better than note5/S6plus based on youtube samples). Shame on that battery life, at least its better than in LG and u got also stamina mode. For user like me its big thumb down, with 1520 and note4 with smaller/same battery, bigger+brighter screen, performing a lot better. S810 nightmare.

A Premium device demands a premium price, it hasn't launched in my country yet but i'm planning to go for the Z5 instead because of its screen size and the frosted glass job they did with it after all the Z series in the previous years which looks really decent and different plus with a price tag of around $680 which is almost equivalent to the iPhone 6s 16GB.

Most premium xperience of all flagships....
Not bad batterylife either...
Too pricey though, but competition is no cheaper
Sony has a winner.

I am disappointed ;( from 66h of battery endurance rate of this phone ...
* i am using internet almost ; 6 hours per day . Is that phone great deal for me or not ; ??? Please help me or suggest between Z5 PREMIUM OR NOTE 4?????

The market does not yet NEED it.

Anonymous, 26 Nov 2015How is 66 hours acceptable with 3400 battery, and the scree... more66 hours for a 3430 mAh battery that runs mostly fhd (4k during video playback) and (especially) snapdragon 810 is definitely better compared to V10's 56 hours (46 hours with second screen on) 3000 mAh battery that runs qhd, snapdragon 808 and 4GB of ram (1GB more than the Z5P).

Bravo to GSM Arena on posting a non-bias reviews, all other so call reviews from other websites are mascaraded advertisement for Sammy or Iphone, even closed with a comment 'why dont just buy an iphone".

Compared to the S6, G4, Z5p and Note 5, Z5p gonna be my first pick. The display is amazing, but only to multimedia, like high res pictures and videos, yet the normal screen time remains on par with other flagship, despite that its still 1080p. Note5 feels awfully similar with the Z5p, since the S6 days, they follow the omni balance design from previous xperias. Stereo loudspeakers are nice, but the sound quality is still a bit meh... not loud enough.
Camera quality is surprisingly well, despite that there's no OIS, its actually quite stable, compared to Z3 and Z2. Flash performance wise... both S6 and note5 have a stronger flash. Performance wise, I still prefer on both Z5p and G4, touch wiz makes things slower...
