Not having an IR blaster, does not really seem like a downside, in this day an age.
Sure, I would love an IR blaster, to control my Home Theatre setup. But few phones has them today. And I never understood if they could be programmed with other remotes... I have some remotes that I would not find in databases, so without that it's pretty pointless feature, anyhow.

Still bad sunlight visibility and dim screen compared to the competition, aswell as an average camera.
The Z5 premium is disappointing and you fanboys should really admit some of its bad side since Sony is losing the smartphone business and they should make there phones better.

i would wait a little bit longer for Z5 ultra....not really sure if it would be launched or not....i really cant stand with Snapdragon 810

After checking it out, it does NOT come with some "premium" earphones, or noise-cancelling ones. I don't see any point of the 4k resolutiopn for more money.

Yeah, yet again a Sony phone with all bark no bite! 4K screen which no one will care about, a shaky camera again! LOL! I am sure Sony does the camera thing deliberately! Is there a Sony phone where there are no negative points in camera section?
Jeez Sony! Be practical, and produce something useful.

I have Z5 Dual and my brother has Z5 premium dual and the battery for z5p is better than my z5!!!!

The click to reveal function would enable itself even when youre just scrolling through the page and accidentally scroll using the area

Played with it few days before GSMa review :D quite nice device, shiny as hell, and to be honest... I can't really see much difference between QHD and 4K. Only thing I noticed was a bit blurry interface due to 1080p upscaling - but you must have really good eyes to notice it. I still prefer Sammy's QHD Amoleds ;) Here in Poland Z5P costs 3999 PLN (~1000$)

Wow...not a bad phone for its battery. 66hrs in total is definitely acceptable, since it uses 4k a lot of the time too.
What I've learned from this review:
-4k works basically in any multimedia, surprised the upscaling worked with MX and YouTube
-Good performance with the 810
-Lots of apps and really good walkman player
What people dont know is the camera. Yes, it may be troublesome, but really you have go learn the camera to use its modes.
