AnonD-122899, 29 Nov 2015DXO is all BS sadly. Have not not seen other reviews? Z5 ca... moreYeah, proffessionals are BS, but you are the thing....
Right....
Do try to read points in their z5 review, you might be surprised to know they actually are pros.
And when refferencing you realy shoud use the refference camera, like DSLR camera:
http://www.gsmarena.com/piccmp.php3?idType=4&idPhone1=7262&idPhone3=7536&idCamera2=300302
So from iphone now to lumia ha?
Lumia is an excellent shooter, colors are off the chart though, and xperias are on the point but it blurrs edges due to widest lens- field of capture( I believe that is what you mean by crap).
We shall see what the camera pros at dxomark have to say about it ( the ones you call cheaters).
And furthermore I highly doubt any OIS device can beat Xperias steadyshot/IAM, and autofocusing speed in video recording. Which constitutes a half of camera overall quality score.
Sony chooses its tech approach deliberately, and I prefer that, there is nothing wrong with software as you try to imply.
Sony does it differently, and I can only applaud them for it.

AnonD-391800, 28 Nov 2015Guess it hurts when you learn ha?
And no, lightweight co... moreDXO is all BS sadly. Have not not seen other reviews? Z5 camera is full of NOISES when comes to low light shots. Also, the over-sharpening effects of its photos are real bad. Fact it manz. Other OEMs are using Sony sensors, yet they are much better than Sony when comes to implementations. Sony just sucks with its s/w dept.
And believe it or not, the masses are just not keen on learning curves when comes to mobile camera. And if one is really so into mobile photography, I will rather take up a Lumia 950 anytime than this crappy "Idiocracy" Z5.
Take a look by yourself and see how crappy Z5 "premium" is:

Sindroid, 29 Nov 2015Dont blame Google for a messy UI. Its the phone manufacters... moreWho cares if it is Google or the OEM??? Do you not buy OEM phones?? If it is messy, then Android is messy, regardless of google or not. Because when the phones are being advertised, it says running on Android. Simple as that. Stop being nitpicking.

Sindroid, 29 Nov 2015Dont blame Google for a messy UI. Its the phone manufacters... moreThe default android ui from google is actually not really good. It's smooth and fast, but sadly it looks ugly. Look at the icons design, it's uglier than apple's icons. That's why many vendors (such as lagsung) replace it with their ui.
Google is very rich. Maybe even richer than apple. But google don't have good designers for android. Google is too lazy to put more efforts in designing their ui.

And no, lightweight consumers like you just need to point and shoot with xperias superior auto mode, which is default, and is miles better than any iphone 6 itterative camera capability. Dxomark put z5 's auto camera in 1st place, while the best iphone 6s auto camera score is...well, at 10th place.
So, do watch "Idiocracy", its an eyeopener

dasman, 27 Nov 2015Then you don't know how much more capable your smartphone c... moreBecause it is NOT a professional camera my friend. If it is a professional DSLR or similar cameras, user will even start taking up courses without you telling them to. But it is a SMART PHONE. We are suppose to point and shoot. Furthermore, it is the responsibility of the phone makers to make sure the user are capable of capturing the best photos without any learning curves - simply means by providing the most user friendly way to get the best out of a shoot. Take a look at how user friendly Lumia camera UI is, and compare this to the freaking sophisticated Sony camera advance UI. Sony UI is horrendous!

AnonD-467475, 28 Nov 2015* i want a z5 premium user to explain me the battery usage ... moreYou can ask any xperia Z user ;-)
At half the nits, about 300 nits, from its full charge you get about 10 hours web browsing, or about 7-8 hours of video playback. Or you get 20 hours of call time.
That is without stamina mode on.
With stamina mode on, your wifi or lte connection is on only when you use the phone, not in standby, but you get more juice for standby.
According to my z1c which has about the same endurance rating, if you are heavy user and use stamina mode, you ll get 1.5 day usage time, without stamina just about 1 day
Average user could indeed make it to 2 days time between charges. ;-)
All depends how much and for what you use your phone.
