I used the iPhone 6+ to try out the battery for a couple days and
it's great.
Sadly it has iOS which is a jail.
Switch that for the Galaxy S6 and battery on that is worthless (less mAh than i6+).
Cant wait to test the battery on the 950 XL since it has the highest mAh over the i6+ and S6.

I have been using the 1520 for more an year now and frankly I am not motivated to move to a 950. At least not with that specification. It would require more than SoC and Contnnum to compel 1520 users to upgrade to a 950 or 950XL.

I can swear I read the same SOCs always performed better under Windows Phone 8.1 vs. Android. What's changed? From what I can see Windows 10 lags more than my Nexus 5X running Android 6.0.

The Problem is in their AMOLED screen , the Lumia 1520 was IPS and had the TOP Battery life you can check the review .
by the was the Lumia 930 also had crap battery life , and it was AMOLED .
I Think that Nokia are using power hungry type of AMOLED screens..

dasman, 03 Dec 201548hrs? I know it runs a QHD screen, but liquid cooled my A$... moreYou do know that this was not tested on a final version of the OS, right? Battery life always improves after the next couple of updates.
Also, considering that this phone has everything that one can want from a phone, and the build quality is superb, the price tag is just right.
Regarding the app store - this all depends on what you use your phone for. This phone (and Winows in general) is aimed at professionals and business people who need to get work done anywhere they are.
Also, a notification LED is not missing. It actually makes no sense to have that, considering the fact that this phone has the Glance Screen feature.

The G4 gets 16 hours talk time, that phone already received lots of bad mouthing from owners with regards to battery life. But honestly, I wish the 950 did better. There is hope for the XL, at least a bit. Yes, we want the XL review please.
