Con: No continuum support? How can this be? Its just a low end phone. Continuum isn't made for low end phones yet. We can use it as a plus for flagship, but it never be a minus IMO.

I don't get the hate. I bought 550 to see what windows 10 are and it sold me... Now I have 950XL as my dad broke his phone so I am going to give 550.
for this price Lumia 550 is awsome phone. I can't help it. System is mostly smooth and fast. Yes, sometimes it takes some time to open stuff. But it is not that bad.
CPU would be better if it was faster, but what to expect for this price...
Display is nice, pictures are actualy quite nice for this camera, LTE is great bonus (is working great where Iam living. GPS and navi was working fine for me as well.
so for me in this price level it was 9/10 phone. I would buy it again and recommend it to any user who don't need much power...

in terms of apps, does windows OS support apps as much as android OS and Apple OS?

Low end phones like moto E 2015,samsung J2,sony E4G are alot better compared to lumia 550.
Sd210 is totally too weak for any phone of 2016.
It has to be a Sd410 or above.
And besides the camera is a downgrade.no 5 mp front camera. It is a huge downgrade.
Anyway display panels seems to be good.

My Lumia 550 also has battery issues.
I had 84% battery left when I went to sleep. 8 hours later it was dead...
Also charging the battery takes 4 hours!
I'm gonna return it... hope they fix it.

I think Lumia 550 can be good alternative to feature phones. It has many good built-in apps like Clock, Calculator, sms, and good call quality after all.
If anybody is not looking for social apps, maps and high end games, and Lumia 550 can be good daily driver.

The same background process may have affected Lumia 950 battery test. Many other reviewers reported quite good battery life or at least not as bad as gsmarena posted.

I like windows phone but its poor choice, 640 with win 10 would be better. The Processor is better, plus many cheaper androids would run over it. Design isn't very good imho

even if price may be lower, I have a bad experience with the SD210 SoC in Lumia 535. If I will buy reasonable priced one, I would go for one of the Lumia 640 series. I already have the XL one and it is far better than the 535 and 640XL camera is actually great for its price.

Is Cortana still only available on english language versions? On my 640 there is no Cortana if I chose my home location to Sweden, and language to swedish!
