It’s impossible to deny Microsoft’s influential position in the entry-level smartphone market over the last few years. The company has always managed to deliver compelling budget packages at hard-to-beat prices. While success has never been a given for any low-end smartphone, Microsoft seems to have perfected the formula.

      Great phone, but I guess I'll wait for Lumia 650, 740/750 or 840/850.

        The design must be getting old? So the same old Apple, Samsung, and HTC designs aren't getting boring?

        Low performance on a device Microsoft stated themselves would fit the low-end spectrum even months before announcement... Having expectations require leveling them even in advance.

          I am quite impresse that they manage to fit Snapdragon 210 in the end of 2015

            They provide hard to beat low spec . 4GB storage ans Snapdragon 210 512MB ram. Even mid range 500$ phone get 8GB ROM .

              The specs certainly justify the price tag and considering the price this phone really offers much. I think it definitely is worth its money but the Lumia 640 isn't much more expensive if not around the same price... Either way a cheap Lumia also offers future updates like the 520 which will get Windows 10 even it's old and low end.

                Lumia 640 is just perfect smartphone,certanly better than this.

                  That's far cheaper than the £80 starting point for the Lumia 520 or Lumia 535 when those were first released.
