Can't believe no mention of the ESS DAC in the V10. This device is the best stereo player I have ever owned.

Looking at the photo comparison tool, no phone has beaten the Nokia 808 PureView.
I wonder how it compares in the real world.
It'd be funny if a phone from 2012 still has the best shooter.

Interesting comparision,
Note 5 looks like bull shit but still better than any snapdragon 810 phone.
V10 is a dual screen calculator with that weak chipset.
So, it is meanless to compare giant against insects...

AnonD-462139, 15 Jan 2016Believe me 808 will not bother you at all! As a matter of ... moreI'm surprised how smooth thing runs! 808 handles everything no problem, even gaming! I've made the right choice with this phone i absolutely love everything about it.

AnonD-77443, 14 Jan 2016The V10 is killed by a pathetic 56 hour battery life. Al... moreIf i'm not gaming the battery lasts me most of the day without problem. Also nothing beats a 15 second battery swap just in case you run low on battery.. Removable battery is the key here. I agree the phone is not perfect but it's better in my eyes than the other 2 offerings.. I've grown tired of Samsung. And Google always seems to put out low quality devices, as in the parts they use.. Stopped buying them after the Nexus 4 honestly..

Just for the fact that LG didn't go the "Apple" way and still supplies high-end phones with REMOVABLE batteries and SD card slot, makes it a no brainer !
And the Snapdragon 808 is fluid enough for daily use and user experience, and doesn't heat up as much as the 810...who cares about benchmarks, specially if the user experience is nevetheless, still great?
Cost production of phones with non-removable batteries and no sd card slots is lower but I am sure the LG will still have and keep a lower price against the Note 5 anyway..
Samsung is adopting the "Apple way" of supplying phones with non-replaceable batteries, no memory expansion support AND abusive prices; Apple can get away with this cause there are still enough i-Phone "su... I mean followers" out there, but can Samsung pull it off as well? Hope not...
Al LG got to do is advertise about it ....
Congrats to LG

Nexus 6P basically the same specs as the Nexus 5X?
Except the fact that it's 3GB RAM compared to 2, and they brush off an AMOLED screen + 808 to 810 snapdragon like they are minor details...

I have used or seen almost all of this year's flagships and I am writing this to rank the best phones of 2015 in a practical way.. Actually, I buy almost every phone I like so I have right to rank these phones on the practical basis. So my story of phones in 2015 starts from a bit earlier than the start of the year i.e from Z3 and note 4.
At the start of this year I had the Xperia Z3 copper and a note 4. 1st phone I bought this year was the LG flex 2. I liked it too much, it performs well, the screen and UI is beautiful the maroon colour of the phone with its curved aesthetics and shiny back it really stand out in the crowd. It also has expandable storage and I'm still using it. The finish never gets old due to its self healing back. Second phone I bought was S6, it was a big step ahead of s5 with premium built, but I never liked it. It didn't had expandable storage and I have to clean it every 5 minutes. The internal storage fill up in nearly a week or 10 days..I moved that data to my pc and gifted the phone to one of my friends.
Then I thought to buy g4, but the bad looks of it really didn't impressed me. My friend bought it, it had excellent camera and expandable storage but so was the Z3. Also heard about m9 and z3+ heating issues and never bought any of them. And they both were incremental upgrades over my Z3. So almost half the year I only had one phone from that year the g flex... And wanted some more because I had ditched 4 big names(S, Z, M, G) . But latter half was as good as the 1st half was bad. I really liked moto X style with wooden back and the one plus 2 with sandstone. Then came the note 5, but I it had same problem as that of s6,glass and non expandable storage so I didn't upgraded my Note 4. But I had wanted phones with latest hardware (specially camera because my new phones flex 2 and one plus 2 weren't best of the camera world and moto X style had an inferior processor). But the luck was with me and came the nexuses and Z5 series. I had to choose between 3. Premium had a distinct feature to Stand out in the crowd, z5 was most balanced, and the Compact was compact. I thought that I can buy bigger phones from other brands so I picked the smallest.. The Z5 Compact. And and 6p from Google. 6p was also short on storage but at least it was made of metal and don't require cleaning for every 5 minutes. So I kept it for my low light shots (at least till the s7 comes). Z5 Compact is better for daylight.
U may have been wondering why I didn't mentioned iPhones? So... I don't buy those. They may be superb... But restrictions over restrictions. I am an independent man of independent country. Not a slave of any brand. People buy iPhone to show they can buy iPhone but everyone knows that I can buy 5 iPhones each year. So I don't care.
One honorable mention, despite being a midrange one I bought this and very happy with it. It is superb. And it is one plus X.
One phone missing so far in this article is V10. It was very poor in battery life. LG should learn. They make a near perfect phone and keep a big letdown.
G4... Plastic body.. What was wrong with metal and leather combination? Cost? Oh come on. It is not costly than bundling a battery and a 128gb micro sd. So, the best phones of 2015 are following.
LG G flex 2 (maroon 32gb) 42000 Rs.
Moto X style (wood 32gb) 31000 Rs.
One plus 2(sandstone 64gb) 25000 Rs.
Z5 Compact(yellow 32gb) 43000 Rs.
Nexus 6p (silver 64gb) 43000 Rs.
One plus X(gold+white 16gb) 17000 Rs.
Phones I couldn't get to see but think are also eligible for best phones of 2015 list are
Galaxy S6 active (64 gb)
Xperia Z5 and premium
Moto X force

I think LGv10 was the best with design, camera, durability (one of the most important), dual selfie cam, dual screen but it's battery life and performance sounds like pain in ass(after so much bucks payed after buying)
