You mean 2014 phones are ok, 2016 are gimmicks? because 2015 was an awful year for phones, including the Snapdragon 810 , and the ram issue on the samsungs... i think this is a really good year in fact, all the phones are pretty solid, and SD820 looks like a beast and no heating issue at sight, by the way, this phone looks superb in paper!! , i use a mi note 2 and is a GREAT phone

smartphones specs are gimmicky nowadays, I sm pretty sure this is not really an upgrade with the sd810 or the sd805. Antutu is just a number, a developer can adjust the results. Rest assured that you are safe as long as you are in the sd800 family. 2015 phones are good but 2016 they are just tech gimmicks.

Getting the 128Gigabyte version. So the ceramic finish, do we have to choose it, or is it standard with the Pro version, the 128Gb?

For mi5 3gb ram and 34gb ROM
Chipset: Snapdragon 820: Kryo CPU @ 1.8 GHz, Adreno 530 @ 510MHz, 3GB RAM @ 1333MHz
Are the CPU and GPU just clocked Down or is it a whole different version of sd 820 than in the 64gb and the pro version.
You know like it is with the SD 801 it has three versions AA, AB and AC .
What about the lower frequency of ram I dont think its something we can clock up.

This phone looks pretty incredible, especially that black version. It looks way nicer than the new Samsung Galaxy S7 in my opinion. However, I still don't like glass backs (I'm wondering how the ceramic version differs in durability and feel) and I'm not hearing anything about a microSD card slot. Then again, if I got the 128 GB version I probably wouldn't even care. I just like the option even if I don't strictly need it. I hope Microsoft releases the Windows 10 Mobile ROM for this phone as soon as possible.
