Mi 5 design is just an upgrade from its Mi Note realeased about 1 year ago.

Haters want to make any resons to hate.
For eg Samsungs design, letvs pricing, And so on...........
Every one knows Minote And Mi note Pro had the same design and used before Samsung note 5.
Letvs pricing is more than 500$ but Xiaomis starts @ 300$, and have great features. If they hate let them. But Mi ha done a very great job.

So basically this is a Chinese made Samsung knock-off. You'll be able to find these at swap meets everywhere under the branding "Galaxian S7 Edche" or the "Galaxian Notice 5"
