LG G5 vs. Samsung Galaxy S7 edge: Flagship slugfest

24 February, 2016
This is why we love the MWC - some of the best phones of the year were announced almost side by side. Two of the headliners are the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7 edge and we know how heated the competition between G-series and Galaxy flagship can get.

It looks to me that the Samsung S7 produces more saturated colors and the LG G5 produces a more natural "real-life" colors. Personally in my opinion, I like natural XD

Edge doesn't have everything. It lacks FM radio. It it still important for some folks.

Both of them are beautiful and strong phones, and I would say the best of MWC 2016 and both wins, but it depends on user needs which one to pick up.

That first comment is a bit harsh!
LG (bless em) are trying something new. Innovation is always good I saw.
In this particular case I don't see much point of the add-on accessories they've produced with the phone - bUT that doesn't mean third party alternatives won't be coming further down the line.
Personally I'd prefer an alrounder phone that doesn't need add ons. I just can't see myself rebooting so often. But they certainly could become useful for some people. For example - someone could develop a mini projector add-on or huge stereo speakers.
Jeez - I should work for LG R&D!!
Well done to them both I say
(but my personal preference would be the S7 Edge)

Seriously GSMA? Put LG where they belong, that is nowhere.
