AnonD-509761, 12 Mar 2016Agree...iOS is matter of time to became android. If do so then there is no chance to 6s to beat Galaxy S4 in performance. S7 is comparable with iPhone 12.

There is a fail in the battery test. In real life the battery lasts 30% more than S6. If someone had both devices can confirm (or deny) that. And I have to say camera is the greatest in a smartphone hands down.

I "love" how gsmarena deems a problem the lack of stereo speakers which at best is a refinement, yet thinks that the sealed battery is fair game.
At this point I think reviewers are in on it. Dead or dying batteries is probably the most significant reason for one to buy a new phone yet not a peep is heard about them...
Phones are fast enough for the extant applications, cameras can't get much better due to the small size. So it's mostly irrelevant that those are getting better. We live in an era where you can keep the same phone for 5 years without any adverse effects ...
The *only* reason keeping you from that is the sealed battery. In 2-3 years the battery holds significantly less, causing you to throw away a perfectly usable phone.
Shame on you Samsung and shame on those supporting this tactic...

As I expected camera isn't something ground breaking. Just make a compare S7-V10-MX5 and you'll be surprised.

The samsung s7 is a complete knock out vs iphone 6s. Price same with the 16gb 6s but sees what samsung gives with the price. Performance of dual core cpu 2gb ram still over the octa core with 4gb ram? The next iphone 7 please show us what u got??

Some great feedback on this site, certainly helps when pondering the "next phone" decision. I was thinking about iPhone 6s for my next phone, however with Micro SD back in for the S7 I'm leaning heavily towards the S7, as storage is key for me. $1199.00 in New Zealand for both the S7 (32 Gb) and 6s (16 Gb). That's $75 a Gb on the iphone and to get to 64 Gb I need to go another $200.00 up or $400 up for the 128 GB. With the S7 (32 Gb) I can add another xx Gb via SD for $xx.00. (eg another 32 Gb for $50). Seems better way to go. Plus Water / Dust Proofing (and OIS on the camera as standard (as not on 6s, need to go to the 6s plus for that)). All 'n' all I think this new S7 ticks so many boxes. Had a play in store today with camera, that Auto Focus is unreal. I think Samsung have done a great job here. Also, haven't been so impressed by Build Quality / materials since the HTC One of 2013. Looks a brilliant phone.

It took 5 to 6 generations to Samsung to finally build a good design phone. I guess I have to wait 5-6 more years till they decide to go stock android way xD
To be fair, a $150 phone interface look better than Samsung's Touchwiz UI. How can someone like those pathetic icons for a flagship phone.

Quad-core 2.6 GHz Mongoose + quad-core 1.6 GHz Cortex-A53 (Galaxy S7) vs Dual-core 1.84 GHz Twister (iPhone 6s) and the iPhone is still better than the S7 in most of the presented tests. Good job, Samsung....
