No IR blaster and no FM radio as a con?
FM radio is understandable, I use it to save my data, but I never use the IR blaster on my phone, doesn't make sense to me.
(I have an LG G3)
S7 looks nice, but setting off the AOD is a must, it kills the battery too much for what it does, I would say buy a normal (smart)watch if you need to...

I don't like the exynos variant. Snapdragon 820 is so much better this year. Shame it will not be available in Europe. Adreno graphics has 30% advantageove Mali. And even the single core performance is better.

How many do you want. iOS has quick toggles for wifi, flight mode, blue light filter, bluetooth, do not disturb. Universal back key i really dont see as a problem at all. App switching is more useful, and edge swipes for forward and backwards movement in apps supplies all of the funtionality of a back key. No true multitasking? In what sense. Apps can do what they need in the background. iPad can split screen, iPhone no, as screen is too small. Media consumption is no problem, if using legal content, really easy. If illegal content, then some fantastic third party apps that will manage and playback content. I am not sure any of your points are relevant. You have just got used to the way your current OS works and find anything that doesnt work exactly the same is more difficult/annoying. That is the same for anything when you get used to something, change is generally more difficult

Long time apple user recently switched to the samsung s6 128gb and love it. But why would I want the s7 with 32gb, I know you can add a SD card but samsung messed that up too. The s6 is the better phone.

If you understand electronics, constantly switching on and off burns power fast. This is the reason I think AMOLED isn't as efficient as tests suggest. Tests show static images, while normal usage has changing images (on and off switching OLEDs)

And ios is crippled. Doesn't have quick settings in notification tab, can't install night mode and a number of other utility apps, no universal back key, no true multitasking, media consumption is made more difficult than it should be, and a number of other things I use on a daily basis. That's the very definition of crippled.

Amoled is very efficient, and Samsung's qhd doesn't take that much more battery than fhd. Overall battery endurance for the s7 should be much better than the g5, and there's no way it'll compare with the s7 edge.
