Kyle K., 21 Mar 2016I am currently using the phone and get about the same with ... moreIt might be a combination of all the stuff you mentioned :) But a comparable test is nice! Props on that.
I searched some other reviews and most people get the same battery life I have with comparable usage and even worse for heavy use (duh xD). So it might just be normal.

olaivo, 21 Mar 2016Thanks Kyle!
That's clear, but it still makes me wonder ... moreI am currently using the phone and get about the same with about the same pattern.
Perhaps it's the less than perfect network coverage that drains your battery, or an app that has huge background activity (Facebook, I am looking at you), or/and the Wi-Fi coverage may be poor. The location services are a battery drainer, too. LTE drains the battery as well.
Maybe you have lots of accounts to sync, too, I don't know. Nobody can out the same result as we do, because of the setup we use - it's specific just to our office. The idea is to be the same for all devices, so the scores to be comparable.
You can check what drains your battery (besides the screen) the most in the Battery options and see what you can do about it.

That's clear, but it still makes me wonder why I don't even get close to 4 days with the "same" usage pattern. Like I said: max. of 4 days.

Gibby, 15 Mar 2016Battery endurance of 98 hrs! Yesssss!! Very impressive. ... moreHmm, perhaps a little less than 50% of the total comments posted here, most if not all of them; are the insecure Google/Apple fanboys, as folks with the crabby person, having crab mentality! You know what? I have a great pathos on you… especially to the Apple fans, who are very much trying out of there utmost hardest, just to be able to somewhat, make a troll on Samsung! iPhone 6s; even the larger 6s+ will certainly be having a very a great time defeating Samsung's A7, much-much-more with the A9 2016, and you still have the guts to compare them with the S7 much-more with the S7-Edge? I mean come on! Samsung detractors, are you really gonna dare?

olaivo, 21 Mar 201696 HOURS?!!!! WTF! That is 4 days! That is bullshit... I wo... more96 hours - that's the time you will get if you use the S7 edge for 1 hour 3G talk, 1 hour video playback, and 1 hour web browsing in each 24 hour bracket.
The standby test: hooked up on 3G network with maximum coverage, data enabled. Wi-Fi connected to 2.4GHz network - full bars. All battery saving options are off. Fingerprint scanner is configured. Location is off. - This is the most important test you should know about and it is described in the link we provide by the end of each battery life section.
96 hours is the result WITHOUT Always-on screen or Edge functionality. With Always on the rating is 67 hours, and with AOD and Edge = 60 hours.
If you need more information - it's in the review battery chapter.
Hope this helps.

I just got one, because of the camera.
Very good phone, but the curved screen is a terrible gimmick. The worst design feature of any non-Chinese phone I've seen.
I'll live with it until the Note 6 or the iPhone 7.

But s7 edge is a 2160p AMOLED force touch high end premiun phone, ip8 water resintance, in his class have the best performance and gpu.

Multico... morehaha you make me laugh. right lets go in more detail then, just for you. 2015 iPhone 6S Plus out performs Samsung 2016 S7 in single core performance. S7 beats 6S plus in multi core performance, and 6S plus beats S7 in GPU performance. Now, if I needed to pick 2 out of 3, I know which 2 I would pick. Single core performance is more important for day to day operation and most of the apps most people use on a daily basis. And I am sure I dont need to explain why GPU would be good. As I said before, the difference is not so important, as both are extremely quick phones, but it is what it is

Single core and graphics stronger in iPhone 6S plus, with iPhone 7 to come this year. Samsung are a little behind in terms of performance, but the real world difference will be nothing. Performance of iOS vs Android will show more of a difference on performance and lag of the devices
