the X series already lost even before the fight begins, reason:
1. Time to market too slow (Sony's major problem over the years) while spec is not the best. Competitors have sold tens of millions when Sony products actually become available to market. Fail to capture most revenue and profit.
2. Priced way too high then later reduced significantly, buyers will wait a few months so again fail to capture revenue.

Iphone 5 and 5s have better camera than this flop expensive device.
Nothing special.
If you really love xperia brand, you should buy Xperia Z2, Z3 Z5 or the M5.
This is the end of Sony Mobile.
They have very bad reputation in terms of camera and still tgey didn't fixed it upto now.

Sony like all Japanese electronics manufacturer can no longer compete against the Koreans and Chinese manufacturers not only in price but soon in innovation. Its a matter of time before Sony exit the mobile phone business.

The xperia x costs £460 and is only a midrange. This is quite literally the most rip-off phone of 2016. It doesn't even have the SD652.
Given the concessions of the x performance in terms of display/ less ram/ etc, if i was told it was the x performance with that price tag I'd have believed it.
