Meizu m3 note review: To the metal

27 May, 2016
We guess many users have always looked forward to the Meizu Note lineup. The m1 note (also known as Blue Charm Note in China) started it all - it boasted a big screen and an overall great package for the price. The m2 note simply widened the LTE network coverage and enabled memory expansion. The latest Meizu m3 note builds upon that with a faster processor, a bigger battery and a more premium, all-metal design.

However agreed with you that MIUI is shit. No, probably worse than shit. Bloating advertisements in an OS is an unforgiven sin. And what disgusted me the most is Xiaomi didn't ditch this practice in the MIUI 8 as well, even after a lot of customers' complaint and request.

I had the Meizu m2 note and only charged it every day and a half. The Meizu MX5, like the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 both have the Helio X10 processor - check GSM Arena's list of phones by battery life and you will see that both have awful battery life - as do all phones with this dud of a processor.

This reviewer suggests paying $25 extra to get the Meizu MX5 which shows a clear disregard for battery life which the MX5 suffers from, typical of the Helio X10 battery-draining SOC. I would much rather have the m3 note with its longer battery life.
