I come to the conclusio... moreI'd agree with that to an extent.
For myself however I can say my criticism of Xperia's (I won't have it called bashing), is based on a number of examples of them I have hands on experience with.
This includes: the Z2, Z1C, Z3C, Z5 (very briefly) and a M4 aqua (its in a rather poor state mind as I bought it cheap second hand).
And from those experiences I can say I'm not really impressed with the products themselves.

I'll throw you a bone. I'm using a Samsung currently. Only things appealing for me is the combination of massive battery and the ability to wash the phone under running water. Heavily subsidized by carriers and were available when my last phone died.

AnonD-5197, 22 Jun 2016Vertu is one of them.Of curse vertu is one of them. I was only setting a trap for you, thought you were going to say samsung and apple are the premiums minus sony. Because according to you none of them brands is doing something special. I simply would have sent a sniper at you.

Hooohoohooo...
Flat ... moreI am Z2 user, not a salesman, I found the competitors always bashing and trolling Sony, and as a Z2 user I have to correct them.
In normal usage my Z2 didn't get any scratches, even the body still like new.
I have use the tempered glass protect the screen and it is durable, because I drop it many times without casing.

Whatever the comments I read hear,
I come to the conclusion that some ppl are defending Sony products too much without actually using it.
And some are bashing it without knowing it thoroughly..
Imo Sony products are good and durable(I'm having one).
But they are too Xpensive and the aftr sale service is horrible...!

Sagittarius, 21 Jun 2016Haha. Premium brands make premium products. If not all, the... moreI'm not defending anything if you have any sort of reading comprehension skills. What you need to defend is what you said which doesn't make any sense. No matter how much Sony wants to position their products as "premium", all parts of their devices are only on par with everyone else's products. Only real differentiating point of Sony would be the camera at this point which is looking like it will be marginally better than competition if that. The way I see it, no matter how you defend your beloved Sony, like 90% of their product is no different than what most people consider "low end brands" such as Huawei, Xiao Mi, ASUS, etc. And boy oh boy those P series, Mi series, and Zen series, are competitive in terms of both performance and pricing.
Hard fights for Sony in a disposable market. It's not like the car market where Lambo can charge half a million dollar because they can move their car super fast. Sony has no differentiating factor. There's no real "premium" offered by major OEMs in this market. I just find it hilarious that you try to justify Sony as a premium brand when they offer the same as their competition for more expensive. "Premium" would be those gold, platinum or diamond covered phones. Sony isn't any more "premium" than "Chinese brands". No offence to Chinese brands.

I don't know why everyone is still whining in this page, seems like some fanboys feel that Sony took all the HYPE. Sony is coming back in all its sectors. Who saw the previous E3 would know that Sony has already switched gears.
Great phone, thanks Sony for the premium you give. Sony is already preparing for the IFA to give its last K.O. To all competitors. Check GFXBENCH and stop hoping for Sony's loss.

AnonD-5197, 21 Jun 2016That's very interesting actually. So you put overpriced and... moreHaha. Premium brands make premium products. If not all, then most of the products. Their mobile department may not be satisfying to those so-called tech-savvy, pretending to be tech-savvy, and hungry individuals but to others they are good with it. Tho all of us disagrees with their pricing. But Im sorry. Did I hurt your feelings by saying that Sony is a premium brand? Like no matter how you defend your brand, still it wont become a premium brand. Fanboy or not, so what? You yourself is also a...fanboy!

AnonD-391800, 21 Jun 2016You again...
I have a link twice with X Perf scoring cond... moreEven if that were true, it's still beaten by both the HTC 10 and Onplus 3 which both score as much as 150,000, But whatever......
And yes you have said that the S7 was crap, if I could be bothered going back through the 1000's of your gibberish posts I would quote you directly.
But who cares eh, DXOMark are going to score the X series whatever they see fit, and if that's higher than the current number 1's, then your no doubt going to do your usual nauseous 'I told you Sony are best routine' over and over again.
I still see you for the brand obsessed hypocrite you are though, and debating you????.....now that is a joke, debating fanboys like yourself is an entirely pointless endeavour.
