I am so afraid to change. Had blackberry since the first phone came out and wanted to upgrade to blackberry Priv but no whatsapp... so looked at the Huawei P9 light please give advice

has anyone tried the latest update? I am trying to hold back just incase there are some bad things about the update....i am quite happy with the phone as is at the moment. Camera is very good really as long as there is good lighting. Battery is awesome, been playing pokemon go on it, its the only purpose of the phone haha and i have no bad things to say.

I've had the P9 Lite for just 3 days and looks like I'll be returning it. Why? Well, in every other mobile I've owned for the last 10 years, I've been able to change the "Region" independently of "Language". That means that if I am English (UK) and I live in Germany, then my locality can be fixed to Germany (time, daylight saving, local traffic, news, restaurants etc,etc) while still using English as the base language! Not with the P9 Lite you can't! Set the language to "English (UK)" and the stupid thing sets the region to "UK" without any other option. Impossible to select "English (UK)" with any other region at all! If anyone knows a workaround please let me know as Huawei don't bother answering any query!

Good phone but still not satisfied with the internal memory & sim 2 shared with sd card (either one). One more, did anyone here having bubble on tempered glass (on huawei logo)?

In a miniaturised version of internal hardware in a phone, a few mm squared of an area and a few mm of thickness is actually a significant space. This is another reason why they can't put too much mAh of a battery's worth without sacrificing the phone's thickness. And weight.
But you are half-right. It is a smart move (for them) and at the same time unwise (for us, the consumers).
