I have this phone and I have to say Samsung did a really good job off packing in some good specs into a cheap smartphone and I have to say 1.5GB off ram is pretty decant for the price and it does handle it so well but it would be good if they will bring an update out for it at least past lollipop because it has got the specs to deal with it and also the only problem with android phones is they get chucked away and called obsolete way to quickly it's ridicules I love this phone I think off it very highly

Samsung galaxy j3 is the biggest peace of crap I've ever seen. Only having it turned on for 3 days, go to turn it on and as I press it the screen cracks. Unbelievable! These need recalled! Don't buy them!

On the 3rd day, it went back to the store.
It's as if Samsung cobbled a phone together from the leftover parts of older phones. I wanted to like it but it was not meant to be.

Can anyone confirm if J3 is made of Asahi Dragontrail Glass? The Samsung site does not confirm so.

I have only had 4 other phones in my life but so far this one is the worse. It barley holds a signal so I can use data and when it does get a signal and use my data it won't register that it's connected to wifi so using data is unnecessary. It refuses to work with the three apps I use the most. I have tried uninstalling the apps and reinstalling them and still had the same problems. I will say the phone is durable and light weight which is all I like about it.

Where can i get a phone that connects to PC's using the USB. the settings on J3 (2016) are not working if you know any set that works then please let me know. my skills could be limited by my handset.

Phone is ok i guess. Just a cheap knock off of the s6. Glitchy at times,doesnt have the fast adaptive charging feature like the 6. Camera sucks major ass and takes forever to download applications. Wish it had a bigger keyboard like the 6 and the samsung health app. Other than that, it will donfor now

gsmarena told this phone isnt for gaming except for basic light 2D game. but my friend have this j3 with same spreadtrum chipset as gsmarena review and this one can handling asphalt8, real racing 3, gta sa in highest graphic setting without issues. so what the point they told something like that?

I bought it a month ago for my mom. The only thing she does with her cell phone is making calls, texting and make video calls . Also she uses it as alarm clock. She is pretty happy with it. But why?!
1- Because it's Samsung, it's long time she is using Samsung's phone so menus doesn't look new and strange for her, she tried few other Android phones but it was hard for her to get use to them.
2- she trusts the brand, with Hua*** and Len*** all she experienced was dealing with costumer service, but with her old Samsungs all she did was buying a new battery and replace it by herself.
3- The screen is very readable for her eyes
Long story short, every product targeting its own costumer, If you believe this is not a good phone, it is because it didn't design for you.
If you think it is expensive, Maybe you don't earn enough. Nothing is expensive or cheap without a reason. When you see iph*** uses dual core processor , 1gb RAM and 8MP camera with that price tag definitely it has a reason.
