My mi note 3 is still Android 5 lollipop. I purchased this because in all the websites it was given that it is running under marshmallow. What is the fact?

Red mi note 3 phone is not good bcz did is single sim slot so don't buy did phone

Best phone in best price... good camera... long battery life... v good sound... No hang n lag... Should be updated to nougat 7.0

I bought a new Redmi Note 3 --on that time its MIUI is 7,during that period i can use the handset maximum of 3 days without charging the battery once charged to 100% with an average usage of calls and 4G connectivity. Good performance at all. After that i updated the latest release from MI which changed to MIUI 8 from MIUI 7 ..Some new features were added after updation but some others were withdrawn (eg: batter saver Options are better in MIUI 7 but that features are withdrawn and a very poor option given in updation for the same) After the updation my Redmi note 3 battery is draining faster than in earlier version MIUI 7. Have any body else facing this issue.. Is there any Solution to retain the earlier battery backup.

Please don't buy Redmi note3. I puchased it OnLine but while inserting SIM card it got Stucked up & while removing the SIM the tray got damaged. I contacted service centre, they place order for SIM tray. But now they are answering me that it's out of stock. A month is over my phone is not working.

(2)Its hang 2-... moreRubbish you must have a faulty unit. I am a heavy user coming ftom a Galaxy S7 and am very happy with this phone. Except for the camera which after an S7 nothing looks good anymore, the rest is very good, Battery is amazing , speed is more than enough with no slowdowns and MUI is the best Android port I have ever used personally. I bought a cheap device and have never been so happily surprised with a phone purchase before.

PPB, 13 Oct 2016Yes. It is having provision for expandable memory. If i a n... moreIt can support up to 256GB of micro sd card, provided the card is formatted to FAT32 format only as it can only read and write FAT32 formatted micro sd card, and also FAT32 formatted usb drive via OTG.
Bad thing for FAT32 format is it cannot store file bigger than 4GB, especially the video file.
Stay away from this phone if you want store and play video file that is bigger than 4GB, other phone brand can detect card with exFAT or NTFS format, but not always every phone support them, do bring the card to test on each phone (even high end Samsung's phone from 2014 cannot support NTFS and exFAT)

(1)It takes too much time for charging.....
(2)Its hang 2-3 times daily...
(3)After 10 min of uses any softwares in this mobile hangs...all the time.
After 15-20 days of buying this mobile shows a lot of problem.So,please dont buy it this mobile..

hi, I have serious doubts between Xiaomi Redmi Noote 3 Pro (snapdragon) and Huawei P9 Lite, I was sure about P9 Lite until I discovered this, the price here are Huawei (not sure if 2/3GB RAM)350K and Xiaomi (16/2GB) 250K, help meee please.
