Please explain how any of those note 7 disadvantages apply to iphone 7? S pen, iris scanner, hybrid slot? From what i know, none of them are available on the iphone 7, thus the disadvantage specific to each feature can't be applied to iphone 7, can you find a way pull another rabbit from your hat to twist reality?

What are you talking about, first great iPhone was 3GS, it was the moment when iPhone was ready to mass market, that was the first iPhone i bought, it was years ahead of competition. And actually that was the year when world got known iPhone and sales skyrocket.
Can't say anything about iPod never owned one, but even first iPhone worked very smoothly and it has always been where iPhone have been known about and it haven't changed.

Apple is the best experience in terms of OS but they are not the leading sheep in terms of innovation anymore.

Although not for me, I find iPhone 7 a good but unpolished effort.
I'm referring to the half hearted effort at video gallery, mobile body, audio while recording video, etc.
I hope a firmware update solves some issues for the final customers. I'm still on the Googly Spywarey OS though. :D
But, I can't believe GSMArena guys rapped Apple for the audio quality even with a similar high clarity as always. :D That's funny.
I hope they've checked in the settings for a "Volume safety" option, which lowers the maximum volume... I'm 100% sure, an earlier iPhone had it!

Wow, the second to last paragraph on conclusion page really emphasizes what hypocrites ihaters are lol. Anyway, really well written review talking about strengths and weaknesses of iphone 7 in a very objective way. I do, however, think that you should remove "no IR port or FM radio" and "No user-replaceable battery" disadvantages as they are industry standards now and even on the note 7 review, both disadvantages were not mentioned.

My 3 year Xperia Z1 will beat this device in battery endurance and it's still waterproof and has an audio jack, stereo recording, full HD screen. But no 4K or stereo speakers.
Ios is smooth, no doubt about that but it's too limited for tech savvy guys, ios is suitable for noobs and girls who don't know jack about tech and find Android confusing. Also it requires itunes for basic stuff which doesn't make it an on the go device and I've seen people who own an Iphone having problems while travelling.
A 720p screen is really sub standard in the present scenario. Even mid range devices are offering better displays.
It's not worth the price tag. Atleast 1080 is a must in any flagship having a screen size less than 5inches.
I'm impressed by the benchmark scores but after a point the difference in benchmark scores doesn't really matter in practical use. Full marks to Apple on this.
The Samsung flagships have the best displays and camera but the touchwiz OS is poor. The curved display is a great thing as well. But the OS, it gets bad with time.
Biggest bummer for me is the absence of the 3.5mm jack. Carrying an adaptor just for listening to music on your preferred headphone/earphones? You can't manage that everyday. Plus these small things get misplaced easily. Not a good thing for audiophiles.
I'm waiting for the Xperia XZ review or perhaps it's better to buy a phone next year. Sony has great audio quality and great displays but it needs to deliver better photos from its powerful camera sensors. The OS is much more stable. I really wish that someday SONY will provide a IR blaster in it's flagship device.
Value for money is a must, seeing Chinese manufacturers releasing devices having flagship grade hardware in a fraction of the price. Their OS may not be as good/optimized as the major players but still they have managed to include the best available SoC and mammoth RAM for lesser money. I've used Xiaomi and I've been disappointed by their after sales service (in India).
This year has not been as good as it was anticipated for smartphones.
