HTC Bolt preview: First look

11 November 2016
The first thing that comes to mind as I learn about the new HTC Bolt is the Verizon-exclusive HTC Thunderbolt, a very successful smartphone from 2011. Some things never change, don't they? HTC has now teamed up with another US carrier, Sprint, to release an exclusive device which introduces a new connectivity feature.

Such a great brand 5-6 years ago.. HTC was building sturdy phones with good specs. M7 was the last phone i owned from them.. A real POS piece of hardware.
Now they just make mediocre products with crappy specs and high price tag..

This is just sad. What the fak is wrong with HTC? SD 810 is the last thing you want to see in a mobile phone in 2016.

I don't get it! This phone is being released now and it comes with SD810? What is this, a bad joke?

It is so overpriced. But still not as overpriced as Htc One A9. That one costed the same and had SD615!!! My Xperia M4 Aqua also has this chip. It costed €279 at release and was still overpriced

You'd think HTC could make people laugh if this was released on April 1st.

Where have we come? So a smartphone manufacturer company can not adjust a 3.5 mm headphone jack in an 8.1 mm thick body? OK Google, tell me more

if we exclude the camera , HTC M9 is a better phone and costs half the price of HTC BOLT

even HTC 10 with SD820 is cheaper than this crap https://www.amazon.com/HTC-Factory-Unlocked-International-Version/dp/B01E5TOIKO

the phone could have sold good if you would have thought on your pricing policy.

undeniable lol. i'm an Asus user for 2 years and i'm wondering why the pricing spike so high on zenfone 3 variant.
i think it's better to buy honor 8/p 9 for the same performance as htc bolt. might be worth it.

RyGuu, 11 Nov 2016$599? Good Lord. I was looking forward to this at around $450. Meanwhile at $400 you get one plus 3 with full warranty , guaranteed updates, unlocked bootloader (if need be), better build quality and twice the hardware (seriously). I wonder how HTC is even around these days...
