CES 2017: Asus Zenfone AR hands-on

We got our hands on the Zenfone AR and we are eager to share our first impressions. The most important thing you must know is the device is equipped with Tango, the Augmented Reality platform that adds an information layer on top of the physical surroundings in 3D using a set of cameras on the back. Tango is Google’s technology and Asus are only the second manufacturer to make a phone with it – the first one was the Lenovo Phab2 Pro, which we reviewed recently.

              Definitely better than the Lenovo Phab2 Plus. At least ASUS is doing something right with their smartphones.

                        Maybe something...4,7-5 screen size ? I want top spec with compact phone...like was Sony Z3 Compact.

                          Doesn't matter, ASUS seldom comes out with any updates for their mobiles after a while. 6 months down the line there will be no more updates or new Android versions. Look at their Zenfone 3, no new Android versions yet?

                            ...and front panel like Samsung 😞

                                  Ram matters more anyway. By the time the 4GB SD835 finishing loading your game for the 3rd time, I would be finishing the first race on my 8GB phone (the game would be up and running, as would most of my apps, no reloads).

                                      Never mind the fact that by the time it comes out we will have the sd835 and the sd821 will look like a midranger.
